 OMG FC that gift is hysterical.  Dalton is so trying to get MacKenzie to crack up. I bet they had discussed that lemon of a song and then were thwarted and not allowed to rearrange it. 

I remember exactly when that look between the two happened. It was right after Harry asked them if either one of them knew what the song was about. What does I want it that way mean?

And am I the only person who sings along to catchy songs and doesn't always give a shit what it is about????? 

No I do that also, FC but sometimes lyrics are nonsensical.   Like That song. Look up the lyrics. Again I do not hate that song, it just has no meat to dig into. Sound of Slience so much meat, emotion meaning etc.

Reading elsewhere they say the meaning of the lyrics is not exactly PG ..... I don't know. Perhaps our resisdent BSB expert could tell us. Jennifer?

Trent hinted they were doing two songs each.  He also hinted something about "Basics" for one of his songs.

Rumor is LaP is going to sing "A Change is Gonna Come".  That will just piss me off if she sings that on the week Adam is appearing! 

I know Mac has been quiet on Facebook this week and he stated that it is because he has been working so hard on his song for this week. 

That is all I have heard.

We shall see.....  Trent was safe last week so who knows.

I had wanted Mac and Dalton to sing Sound of Silence as their duet and had FB messaged Dalton it would be a great song.

My apologies to those who support Tristan but a Bon Jovi song? Seriously? That is a recipe for disaster.

I sure hope Dalton does Stop for his second song and if not it, Superman. He needs to do one of his original songs to show off his awesome songwriting abilities.

I'll go out on a limb and say Bing is right. We'll see. So long as Dalton is safe I'm good.

No doubt some have deeper stories than others. I hope they don't make Dalton talk about his bipolar if he doesn't want to onstage. There are ways he could mention dark times in his past without all the details......then again how does he perform Stop if he doesn't talk about it........all I know is if he does perform it I'll have the tissues handy.

I have never seen any other fan of Daltons recommend Sound of Slience.  Frankly most of his fan base probably doesn't even know that song.

Well it's now a week later and I haven't yet gone back to watch the rest of the performances from last week that I didn't see. At this point I probably won't.

A lot of odd picks tonight.  I don't totally believe that these were the top choices on Twitter.  I'm especially  not happy with Dalton's second song.

I just watched Mac's Facebook Chat.

He said the Top 4 get Hometown visits and he wants that in the worst way....  He just has to make Top 4

He also said that if he makes Top 3 they gave him clearance to record his original song "Roses" and sell it on iTunes.  He would love that!!

He was so sweet and adorable in this chat.  I am going to be heartbroken if he doesn't make Top 4 or get to release his song.....

I am fine with Mac's songs!  I love Cat Stevens!!!  Love that song!!  I had every single Cat Steven's album when I was in HS and early 20s!!  Before he became a nutjob!!

Just read that Scott said they decided to do a judges save tonight with the bottom 2...... 

He also talked about Tristan AGAIN!!!  Lord he cannot make it more obvious that she is his chosen one!!

But OMG are the screws being laid to Dalton. Linkin Park seriously. Look I am the metal girl and Linkin Park is like my fav bans but I have never seen not one request to Dalton for Linkin Park. Dalton is Alert Anne Cure, Depeche Mode, New Order, Panic at the Disco not frigging heavy metal screamo Linkin Park. I am scared shot cause even Adam Frigging Lambert would have a hard time with Linkin Park.

Yikes guess they don't want Dalton to showcase his songwriting skills.

I about cried when I saw Linkin Park.  They sure are putting the screws to him. I don't believe for a minute this was on the fan request list. How would the kids be able to see if it was or not? They couldn't. They were at their mercy for this one. They obviously don't want Dalton's songwriting skills showcased. I am so pissed off at this one.

 I want the hometown visit for him so he can go visit his students at the School of Rock then he can tell AI to take a hike.  He doesn't need to be stuck to these sob's.  He's already been through enough darkness in his life with his bipolar.  Doesn't need more.

I will not miss this part of the show.
