Singer, songwriter...philanthropist. Is there anything this guy doesn't do? In his copious spare time between rehearsals, concerts, interviews, photo shoots, and oh, hey, cutting his first record, Adam Lambert is lending his voice to DonorsChoose.org, a charitable organization devoted to connecting donors with public school classrooms in need of materials and resources their recession-strapped school districts are not always able to provide.

"Any donation amount can help students across the country get the resources they need to learn—or to thrive in music and theater, like Adam!" Lambert's dedicated fan group donation page states, and his fans have risen to the occasion. A fan group competition running from August 20th to September 20th, with entrants such as ONTD_AI, Glamberts4Kids, the Adam Official Glamberts, the Globerts (international fans of Adam Lambert) and the Glittizens among many others, has already raised $21,697 for the charity. The winning fan group will receive signed photos and an exclusive chat with Adam.

Individuals are also encouraged to donate in lieu of sending gifts -- a choice that could save a lot of space on the tour bus as well as lot of cash for kids. So far individual fans have raised $11,548 for classrooms across the country, bringing the fan donation total to $33,245.

This isn't the first we've heard of Lambert's dedication to children's issues. "The weird kids need to know there's somebody out there for them," Lambert told Sirius XM Radio in early June of this year.

And yesterday on Twitter he was out there for them again: "Keep the donations coming! Every little tax deductable bit counts!!"

She could be very nice but she tried to cause some trouble for Adam in the AI thread. It's all still there (I admit I'm shocked!) so you can go read what she said.

Which AI thread??? Also I thought it was Stellium that was being the you know what and being totally mean to Adam. If it is Debbielynn to i will be so sad and disapointed in her.
