It would be soooooooooooooooo freaking stupid not to do a special show with past idol alumni. Many people still care about the idols from past seasons.... if they end the show without anything about the past idols there will be many fans upset.

They won't care who is upset. It's the last show. LOL They'll do whatever they think will bring in the most viewers as they fade into the sunset. Maybe it will be a reunion show, but I really don't think that many people would give a hoot or would even remember most of the winners. I sure don't want to see family and kids.

What will bring in most viewers in bringing back the idols they love!! if the idols the fans love are shown on there then the people will watch.

I agree with Angel on this one.  I think a lot of people who stopped watching would enjoy seeing people from the past, from it's heyday, and see how they look and maybe hear about how they are doing.  I truly cannot imagine ending a show like this after 15 years and not thinking of a reunion show.  Past winners/runner-ups, those who made it big, past judges like Paula and Simon.  I think that would be a ratings booster.

Maybe the producers will think so, too. The original judges are more likely, seems to me.

I Stopped watching totally the year after Candace won and it was for the reason it wasn't the same for me.  I haven't been totally into it since after season 8 even though I enjoyed some of the idols from seasons 9, 10,11 and 12.  Seasons 1 through 8 were so special to me and I miss seeing soooooooooooo many of the idols from those seasons.

It would be a slap in the face to all who supported that show for sooooooooooo long and kept it up high in the ratings to not do something special in its final season on.  They may not care about people but they care about ratings and having peoples faves on there would bring people in and back to watch.

They want AI to go out with a bang and with people talking about it in a good way!

Spirit, I can't imagine the original judges not coming on. That's a no brainer to me. We already know Mariah won't come back though 😅

I meant Simon, Paula, and Randy.  No need to drag along all the others, although it might be fun to get a Mariah/Minaj cat fight going.

Well I want a reunion show also.

Kelly, Carrie, Bo, Daughtry, Pickles, Casey James, Adam, Jason, P2 are those I care the most to see.

Pickler, by the way, is getting her own TV show.

For me I most want to see:

Season 1: Kelly
Season 2: Clay if he would come and Josh Gracin. I would like to know how Ruben, Kimberly Locke are doing
Season 3: George and Diana
Season 4: Anthony, Carrie, Bo and Joseph Murena
Season 5: Taylor, Chris, Elliot, Mandisa, Kellie,Katharine and Ace
Season 6: Jordan, Haley,Melinda, Blake, Phil
Season 7: David A, David C, Jason, Brooke
Season 8: Kris, Adam, Allison, Matt
Season 9: Crystal, Aaron and Lee,(yes not a big fan of his but I liked many songs from his indie cd and would like to know how he is doing.).
Season 10: Scottie, Lauren, Stefano
Season 11: Joshua Ledet and Holly
Season 12: Angie
Season 13 and 14 did not watch at all.

The colored names are the ones I care about the most though.

Yep. A reality show (yawn) with her husband. Her career is red hot.

I have always wanted Kellie to have a TV show. I hope it is a comedy.

The show is being called "the Southern I Love Lucy", so yes, a comedy.

It's a reality show on the CMT network.  So not really what I wanted for her.  She belongs on a real sitcom on a big network!

Since it is just a reality show with her hubby on the country music channel I doubt very much I will ever see it. 

But then a reality show on MTV with her hubby did wonders for Jessica Simpson

FC, I had hoped Pickles would be on a regular sitcom.

I don't receive that channel here.

I get the channel but doubt I will watch it.  Maybe if it is not on against other shows I watch.

I don't have a television any more. I got rid of Time Warner and watch Hulu or Netflix.

I watch CMT as they have a lot of ABC Family sitcoms. Hoping CMT Canada also has Kellie's show. She's such a sweet heart and very funny. Maybe if it goes well ABC will get her a real sitcom.

Kellie and her hubby are such private people I seriously can't believe they agreed to do this. i honestly don't think it is a good idea but it is their choice
