You will notice that at the start, he is introduced as FORMER frontman for INXS. Still leaves some unanswered questions and I wish him luck and I wish him good health and no drugs. What a shame he lost his friend it seems as though he's having a hard time dealing with her death.

Man, this interview just depresses the hell out of me. The man was on top of the world a few years ago. Touring the world, getting a gold record, making videos, being interviewed on big shows, dating top models and now NOTHING! God it is horrible! I feel so bad for him :( Just selling the music on My Space and no physical CD right? Oh goodness - I thought it was going to be a "real CD" release with some promo or something. Damn, this is just bad news. I don't know how he can wrap his brain around all that has happened to him.

So very sad about his friend. A real shame. I really worry about what will become of this beautiful and talented man.

I hope there is a hard cd, and that talk of it being sold on MySpace was just talk. There was a post by someone on .com that says JD fulfilled his contract, one cd and one world tour and that the band's new cd is with another singer. He also said JD squandered money in casinos and whatever and doesn't believe he's as broke as some people actually are. I tend to believe most of what he said. A lot of what has transpired in the last few days is publicity.

I am reading some sites that say it's all not true. Would JD really make it all up? That he lives out of his car? Wouldn't he just look like an ass if it came out that it was all a publicity stunt?

I don't know what to think Would INXS let themselves look like bastards for dumping him at an airport if it wasn't true? I guess it will be interesting to see what happens next.

Are you kidding me with this? Years ago I read an in depth article In Vanity Fair about Michael. He was a very sad troubled man . NO ONE did anything to help him including the Farris brothers, I realize when someone is troubled you just want to throw your hands up but JD made INXS a lot of $$$$$$$$.

That is the thing. No matter how troubled JD is/was he was "like a brother to them" for awhile and he did bring in a lot of money. I mean they were together on tour for 2 full years - how do you just dump him at an airport? So damn cold - if true :x I sure would like to hear the rest of the bands' version of the story. They really did seem like nice guys while watching the show and in interviews following their selection of JD. They all seemed so happy!

So hard to believe the Farris brothers didn't try to help Michael. All I've ever read was how much they loved him. Maybe they just couldn't see how bad off he really was

Oh, I think they knew how troubled and messed up MH was at the time. I think they knew how messed up JD was too. There were stories of JD being so out of it at bars, while on tour, that in one place a bar employee had to take him back to his hotel because he had no idea where he was or how to get 'home' (hotel). JD led the life of a rockstar on tour, I just wish he would have been a bit wiser. I think he was left alone alot while on tour and that can be lonely, but........the other guys had lives of their own. I really wish we knew exactly what has happened.

Lots of rehashing of the ET Canada piece. I would sure like to hear some comment from INXS.

I am almost positive JD's run with INXS is over. I love the music he has posted on his MySpace and their are a few videos.

No one in JD's family knew anything about what he's claiming now. His Mother and Grandmother now have to put up with all the questions. (I have a secret source) He has family he could stay with, so I'm not buying the living out of the truck thing, unless of course that's what HE wants.

I could understand him not telling his family if he was too ashamed of what all he did/what all happened. I could totally understand that. There are things from my teen years I still don't want my mom to know I could really see him not wanting to disappoint his mom or let her down. But yeah, now that it is out he needs to go home - IF he really is living out of his truck.

Very curious that so many think he might be making this all up. If he is making up the living out of his truck just for promo for the CD then that really bugs me and I do not respect that sort of thing at all.

I remember how so many on RS:INXS didn't like him at all and didn't trust him. He is so hard to figure out who he really is isn't he?

Oh, he probably does live out of his truck, sometimes...... He's does tend to dream or tell a good story or should I say 'wish'. He's not making any of it up, I think it's just being sensationalized. He truly loves his Grandmother and Mother, and I'm not surprised they didn't know, but you'd think he'd have told them before he went on the air and told the world!

Yes, I did listen to 3 of the songs! I loved them! JD has a great voice and style. If there IS a physical CD I will buy it. I got busy with kids and then AI and never listened to the other songs. I will listen again soon.

Yes indeed - he should have told his family first. Must have been shocking for his family to find out this way.

He did a radio interview this morning and a few things were cleared up.......... This is all getting so 'old'.

This is not an exact quote, but he basically said that after the tour, they shook his hand and said thanks, we'll be in touch, but he never heard from them again and that was almost two years ago. He said he felt like he did the whole RockStar thing because he believed in it and if you looked up band in the dictionary, it said family, and that's what he was looking for, but family should call you and let you know what's up. He felt like he had earned the right to be called and at least be aware of what was going on and what was planned. He also said that throughout the tour, they kept encouraging him to write his record, DOAMS, and so he did.

When asked what he did with his money he said that he payed off his moms house, bought property in NS that had been in his family. The rest pretty much went into making this album.

Also mentioned that his share with INXS was 1/6. When asked by the male host (sorry can't remember his name)if he still gets royalty checks he responded with "well geez I shouldn't say this on the air....but my last royalty check was enough to cover the beer you and I are drinking right now" or something to that effect.

OK so don't everyone jump on me for bringing this up yet again....He also said he has been clean from drugs...except he uses alot of pot.

Well, I am glad he is living "out" of the truck instead of "in" the truck Not exactly sure what that means. I guess that he sleeps in their places but keeps what little he has in a truck.

Sadly, a lot of people do not see pot as "drugs" so in his head he is clean and sober. Don't think anyone at this point is going to be able to help him see that differently.

I cannot believe his time with INXS has been over for 2 years! It just doesn't seem that long since I heard about the band touring. Or perhaps they were touring more recently but with another lead singer.

I cannot imagine a better lead singer for that band so either the band is done or JD was just too much to deal with. Whatever all is the truth - it still breaks me heart that it didn't all work out better and with a happier ending. Thinking back to that night when JD won sure seemed like the beginning of something really amazing. At least we have one really kick ass CD from JD with INXS.

Cool! It was nice seeing Lukas and JD sharing a little love for each other. I think Lukas may have mellowed since his days with that Tommy Lee.

He also said he abused cocaine while on a two-year tour with INXS, although he had given it up.

He was also a heavy gambler while on tour.

Despite his tell-all, Fortune, bizarrely, is still listed as the singer on INXS's website.

It will be interesting to see what INXS has to say........whether all this is news to them or if indeed it is true.

Yes, I cannot wait to hear their version of what all went down and what is upcoming. I still cannot get over that they parted ways two whole years ago man time is flying by.

Oh Boy, there is going to be some fanforums that aren't too pleased.........this from JD's MySpace........if he only knew half of what went on at this site he now endorses........

lukas was really hurt by tonights programme he didnt feel opening his home was about music or getting on stage it was about helping a guy in need and now both him and his wife are upset by the way jds responce came out
