AMERICAN IDOL SEASON 10

I have wondered if Casey might be on prednisone (a corticosteroid) for his medical condition. I took those evil pills in a high doseage for awhile, and my face blew up like a pumpkin. It can alter your entire body, physically and emotionally. It even made my straight hair curly and unruly. Even so, looks is the least important part of a person and Casey looks very sweet and interesting.

Spirit, I think he was on that. Probably because of his illness.

FC, don't forget, Hailey is going to be on Regis this morning!!

If he was on prednisone, he is extremely brave to go on AI. I was reluctant to go out of the house because of the way I looked. It also made me crazy. I developed "steroid-induced psychosis".

TC was on it for awhile and he got the moon face, but he was finally able to eat. He was in the hospital for a month because of his Crohns, and could hardly eat until the steroids. He did fine on it. I loved watching him chowing down!

Spirit, how long were you on it?

I find him a total hoot and a cuddly teddy bear for sure! Mostly he seems a very real and down to earth guy and very sweet. Can't beat that! I certainly appreciate his musicianship.

Potsie - I forgot about Haley. It's been a rough and depressing morning I am afraid.... I will try to catch a You Tube of it.

Haley just sang "House of the Rising Sun" on Regis. She did Great, and looked beautiful!

Saw Scotty and Lauren on The Today Show this morning .... very, Big crowd! Scotty was so cute!

I wonder if they're ever going to split up Scotty and Lauren? They are a cute pair but they need to have their separate indentities.

I loved Haleys outfit!!

Canear ~ I wondered the same thing this morning. When Scotty was finished with 'I Love You This Big' ... they intereviewed them both ... then they sang a duet. It was good, but I can't remember the name of it. Lauren sang her single, but, didn't get much camera time.

Potsie ~ Yes! Haley looked gorgeous ... Loved her outfit!

They'll split up after this first round of going everywhere. Or maybe a romance will start and they won't. That would be cute.

I was on high doses of prednisone for about four months.
It was fun, being high and crazy. But it will destroy your brain and body over time. Doctors always get you off that stuff ASAP.

Oh they can be the new Justin and Selena. Justin brought her up here to his hometown yesterday. The media was all abuzz about it. He went golfing with his dad. She spent time with his stepmother and grandparents, then they went for lunch and ice cream.

Years ago (and maybe today, too, for all I know) their handlers would have created a romance for the benefit of teen magazines. I can see the magazine covers now.

Fantastic performance by Haley she sounded great and looked gorgeous.

I just read that Haley was scheduled to sing another song on the finale, but she was scrapped to make room for Bono and Spiderman. I guess when Bono comes calling, even AI jumps

Scotty was adorable on The Today Show this morning. I tell you that kid that just puts a smile on my face!! He's going to be very big on the tour I have no doubt about it!

The duet he and Lauren did was I Told You So. It was great!!

Haley was going to do an original song but got bumped because Bono agreed to come on the show.

I didn't much like Haley in the beginning, but I came to appreciate her talent and beauty. She has a uniqueness about her voice and delivery of songs. I personally think she should have won. Scotty and Lauren are cute and sing good, but Haley gives us something different and powerful. Probably why she didn't win.
