AMERICAN IDOL SEASON 10

I don't follow this group at all (I of course am looking forward to getting Haley's album) but is Scotty or Lauren getting on ANY shows like this at all?? If not and I were them I would be so pissed about this crap with Pia!

I watched a little bit of Lauren's video. She sounds good and looks extremely tan The video is pretty cheesy - very Idol

Most first videos right out of Idol are going to be very low budget and probably not the best they can be. Besides the songs themselves usually aren't the greatest either. So it does make sense to not put forth too much on the videos. From what I read though the artists themselves have to put up the money to pay for them. Lauren's video might be cheesy but it was nice. I liked it.

It's a very corny song so the video goes with it. But lots of country music vids are on the corny side. I have not watched any of Scotty's yet because I really do not like the song. But I will check it out and see how he does on videos.

American Idol Season 10 runner-up Lauren Alaina announced some exciting news today, and fans who subscribe to her newsletter were the first to hear it.

In a message to her fans, Lauren revealed that her debut album, Wildflower, will be released on October 11th. "I have always dreamed of making an album and I can't believe it's actually happening. It's because of the fans who voted for me on American Idol that I am here, so I am dedicating this album to you. I hope you love it," she said.

Lauren added, "I feel like it has a flavor for everybody. It's a mixture of all different songs, so I hope it will appeal to all different kinds of people. There are fast songs for people who like up-tempos that you can dance to, and there are also tearjerkers for people who like slower ballads. I tried to get songs that are all a little different so that we could bring a fresh feel to each and every song."



"My producer is Byron Gallimore and he is so awesome. He has worked with Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Lee Ann Womack, and now me! How cool is that? I really enjoyed working with him. I was nervous at first because I thought it was going to be really intense and hard and maybe even intimidating, but he made me feel right at home. I consider him family now. It was a great learning experience for me and I had a lot of fun."

She continued, "Wildflower is the perfect name for my first album. I would consider myself a wildflower because wildflowers are sweet, but then they have a little bit of spunk to them - they are "wildflowers." I like to have a lot of fun and I'm really sassy, so I feel like a wildflower would be a good description of who I am as a person. I also recorded a song on this album called "She's a Wildflower" that was written by Steve McEwan, Hillary Lindsey, and Gordie Sampson."

"Most importantly, I want to say thanks for everything. Because of you, all of my dreams are coming true - and then some. I hope that you'll think that this album is worth picking up and listening to. I feel like I've done a good job with my team as far as picking out songs that people can relate to and listen to. I hope you enjoy it because it's dedicated to you. Thanks for helping me do what I love!"

Hey FY - I know you read at AWoP. Do you read the Idol 10 thread there? I would love to take RR's red pen and stab her in the eye with it!! She is so freaking bias she has NO business being the moderator of that thread!

Well you know I agree with RR. How on earth can you say that La and cupcake are not inflammatory? I know there is no love lost for James by most of you here but what some of you have said is mild compared to them. They are not rational people. Fez never says anything because she agrees with them and spews the crap all over Twitter. If you don't like someone, fine, but why spread it all over the twitterverse the way they do.

La and Cupcake may have the more "passionate" posts (I have no idea what they say elsewhere and I don't do Twitter or MJ's or TWoP or SS etc.) but RR has always edited posters (not just La and Cupcake) who says something she doesn't like about James! Other artists and Idols can get plenty of negative comments and no red ink - but damn them all if she see anything anti-James!!

My issue is she has no business moderating a thread where her bias takes over and she starts editing all she wants and if it is even questioned she edits that too! That is NOT the job of the moderator!

What if I deleted/edited every post here about James that I didn't like?? His whole "positive" thread would be gone. What if I edited every post here about what a "whackjob" GaGa is?

Allowing people to post their opinions on a message board is just that. Allowing them to post their opinions whether you like them or not. She is abusing "her power" and no members on the board there can do a thing about it!

What the heck happened to this girl, her hair is just awful and she looks like a younger version of Charo.

The hair isn't the best, but I continue to blame the people styling her. Even when she was on the show there were some questionable choices. I don't blame her unless she came up with these things herself. She's just a teenaged girl. They should try styling her more like one.

Laurens hair is looking like complete crud. She needs to get to a hairdresser have it put as one freaking color and get it cut so it is not so crazy. She is a beautiful girl but not looking like it with that flipping hair that looks like she is wearing a wig. I blame her mom for that hair cause he mother has the same two tone hair and it looks yucky.
