I'm sure there are a ton that I'm missing but I've been on top of it as much as possible tonight. I've literally been at it none stop. My energy is zapped now. I seriously feel like my bed is calling my name. I think I'll be turning in very soon.

It was indeed an awesome Finale with a wonderful ending! Happy for Scotty and so happy for my mom! She cried when Clay lost, she cried when Adam lost and Scotty was her fave from when the first "Baby Lock Them Doors" came out of his mouth. So it was a wonderful season for her.

Although, towards the end, they put 2 ushers next to him and they slowed the flow. Adam left before the announcing of the winner. I am going to go watch the show now. Be back later.

She was also a big Taylor Hicks and Carrie fan. So she was thrilled those years too. She preferred Archie to Cookie though. She rooted for Lee because he was from Rob's hometown and grew to like him. She wanted Diana to win in season 3 and Blake in season 6.

Nigel was very nasty this morning about that. He Tweeted Lee wouldn't do it when asked. Gee Nigel, you left out the part that you didn't ask him until the second Scotty was supposed to get the trophy. Nigel really is a dick.
Thanks for the links Teddy. I listened to both their singles all the way through. Not gonna lie - Lauren's is WAY better. And she sounds amazing - especially during the chorus and when she wails at the end. Truly gorgeous recording of it. Scotty's song is just so simple and he doesn't do much with it vocally. Just saying..... I am sure when Scotty gets to record a full CD there will be better songs for him to shine on.
I wonder if either of these songs will get a lot of airplay on country radio or recognition during awards season?
