Well, Fano pronounced "fONo" is cute just not 0. That would not be cute!

I just think it sounds weird..........JMO

If I were he - I would prefer Stef. But then that sounds like it could be short for Stephanie

I have known two Stefano's in my lifetime and both were called Fano for short.

It just a break up of names nothing huge. There are kids that I work with that their names are Mackenzie. Ones nickname is Mackie the others Nickname is Kenzie. Another child I worked with her name is isabella her nickname is Bella. Another little girl I worked with has the name Beatrice her nickname is Bea. Many guys with the name Anthony are nicknamed Tony. Mnay girls with the name Elizabeth have the nick names LIZ and BETH and even some have been called Liza. Some guys with the name Andre are nicknamed Dre. My nickname is Shan. Like I said it is just a breakup of the name no big deal.

ETA: on the show Buffy and the vampire slayer Buffy's friend Alexander went by ZANDER the whole series.

I have an Isabelle in my daycare and we call her Jelly! When she was a baby her 3 year old big sis couldn't say Isabelle and called her Belly. Then her mom would tease and call her Jelly Belly. Then everyone started calling her Jelly and she loves it. She is 5 now. I wonder at what age she will not like it? We called Justin Justy when he was a baby and as soon as he got into kindergarten he made it clear he was to be called Justin! However my MIL still slips sometimes and calls him Justy

I used to call the Isabella i worked with Belly at times or me and my coworker would call her Bellalusca,(my coworker was hispanic and put spanish flavor to a lot of the names )

Sometimes the shortening of names or giving nicknames is just a show of fondness too.

Both Shannon and I have already bought it and love it. We really like the layering of his voice on the song especially with the back-up vocals mixed in with the main part. They haven't done it like that before. I don't so anyways!

After Stefano sings his going out song. Stefano class act and he went out with a smile. SO love him.



So very sad I won't be able to get anymore songs from my Stefano. I pray he makes a cd even if it is indy.

how can anybody look at that smile and not get all kinds of warm fuzzies. His smile lights up his face just like George Huffs smile does to his face.

ETA: Keep forgetting to mention this. I adore Stefano's parents. You can see every week how supportive and proud of Stefano they are. My heart broke seeing the sadness in his dads eyes when Ryan said he was out. Mr and Mrs Langone you have an amazing son.
