Thanks FC! I'm so sorry I didn't get the chance to meet Michael at my meet and greet. He disappeared before we had the opportunity.

Good for Michael! He's turned out to be a real stand up guy. I'm glad he made that statement about Twitter. I hope people listen.

I watched that interview piece last night and I balled my eyes out. That was such a moving speech. He's really turned out to be quite the sweetheart. What a really stand up guy and an even more amazing friend. I loved what he said and I love him for saying it. Amazing.

The official announcement of Michael Sarver’s record deal with Dream Records/Universal music group was announced today.

Michael will release his first single. “You Are”/”Cinderella Girl” via iTunes on December 8. Currently he’s on a Christmas tour with a few fellow American Idol alums.

Los Angeles, CA–Dream Records/Universal Music Group announced today the signing of American Idol’s Top 10 finalist of the 2009 season MICHAEL SARVER with plans to release Sarver’s debut country music CD in the spring of 2010. Sarver’s first single from the new album titled “You Are,” will be released nationally and on itunes this coming Tuesday, December 8. Michael is currently available for interviews in support of the upcoming singles and his current Holiday Tour with other A.I. finalists.

A bonus track, “Cinderella Girl,” will be made available on itunes along with “You Are” – the song which he recently performed live for L.A.’s homeless and needy at the Los Angeles Dream Center, which owns Dream Records, a non-profit organization that provides shelter, education, job training, and other services to thousands in the L.A. area and nationally.


The Season 8 favorite “Oil Rigger” turned artist from Jasper, TX, Sarver is on tour with American Idol alumns Gina Glocksen, David Hernandez and Alexis Grace on the American Stars in Concert tour which began yesterday in Lakeland, Florida at The Polk Theatre. Other dates include: December 4 at The 1st Baptist Church in Oxford, AL; December 5 at University of Mississippi Ford Center for the Performing Arts in Oxford, MS; December 9 at Allegheny College’s Shafer Auditorium in Meadville, PA; December 10 at University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown Pasquerilla Performing Arts Center in Johnstown, PA; December 12 at Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock, PA/December 12 (split cast)- Mesa Arts Center, Mesa, AZ (split cast); Dec 13, 2009 at the Lane Theatre, Frostberg MD; December 19 at the Paramount Theatre, Aurora, IL; December 18 at Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mt. Pleasant, MI and December 20 at Midland Theatre in Newark, OH. The tour is produced by The Stander Group, who also produces the tour of “Ballroom with a Twist,” a performance choreographed by “Dancing with the Stars’” Louis Van Amstel.

I think you got them all cause when I looked at Michael's twitter those are pretty much the people he tweeted thank you. He did thank Mama Kim to cause she congratulated him on her twitter.

I am surprised there hasn't been anything for Danny. I don't think Danny tweeting that much but when it comes to Michael and Matt I just see him tweeting something.

Danny has been very quiet. He tweets but very rarely. I haven't seen him tweet anything to Michael or Matt or Anoop or any of the others. Mainly he just tweets about what he's doing and that's it.

Yeah he only tweets about his own thing and that is why people keep calling him a douche cause he never shows support for anybody. He is busy doing his thing I guess.

Yep. And today he even tweeted about his single release date being 12/22 and the album coming out sometime in March. Michale was actually nice and retweeted the info. Did he get a thank you from Danny? No. He got squat. Today is a big day for Michael and here Danny is promoting what he's doing and getting support for it but not giving it back. It makes me mad.

I thought I saw that but I wasn't sure.

Don't know why Danny is being like this. He kind of worked this summer to get it so people didn't think he was a bad guy and now he is totally ignoring everyone. The only time he tweets Matt is to act dorky. And as you said he is tweeting people only now to get his cd stuff out there but he didn't say a word about Michael and his deal :(

I'm glad Michael has turned out to be such an awesome guy. I admire him now a great deal. He has his views, beliefs and opinions, but he's opened his heart and his mind up to a lot of other things. A lot of different things he'd never consider before. I think it's turned him into a much better person. A more accepting person. I love that he's so supportive of Adam too. I think it's wonderful.

Well, they don't call him Danny the Douche for nothing you know!

Lil and Matt got involved in this. Lil is like Danny and never tweets about anybody so for her to tweet about Michael and the others,(she did say all the idols), is a welcome surprise. I am glad Matt Tweeted:

Yes that's why I said I was having issues. It's been giving me that message a lot over the last few days. Usually I can get right back on, but not tonight. That message just keeps popping up. It's frustrating me beyond reason. I wish it would stop.

I didn't want to include the tweet from Danny. Besides you already posted that in Adam's tweet thread. Seeing something from him once is enough thank you very much.


And actually that tweet from Lil came after another tweet that said she was excited about all the good things coming and happening in her life. So take them apples for whatever you will.

Don't get me wrong they're excited about what they're doing and want to promote it. Everyone does that and they rightfully should. I just think it's tacky to boast yourself and your endeavors then go straight out and try to bump somebody else up directly after. That's what I don't like.
