Biloxi Concert
Michael will be performing at the Hard Rock in Biloxi, MS this Friday, February 17. Tickets are still available, so don't miss out! Visit: Shows for more information. Plans are to bring his band out for this concert to give the show the full sound it deserves. Michael will also be doing a meet and greet with Fans and 2012 VIP pass holders following the show. Day passes for this meet and greet are sold out, but 2012 VIP pass holders can still get in. The Biloxi concert will also be the debut of the new Michael Grimm fedora and cadet cap that Michael personally designed with the help of American hat maker Dorfman Pacific. "There are quite a few others that we have designed that are waiting to be manufactured, but I picked my two favorite to start with and see how the fans respond." The hats will be available at the merchandise booth for purchase and will make their appearance on Michael's online store by the end of the month.

Grandma's House
Many fans have been asking about the progress on Grandma's House, the house Michael promised to build with his winnings from AGT. The house is near completion. There are about 5-6 weeks left on the build before Michael's Grandparents can move in. "We had some delays due to finances and complications with our contractor, but we are confident that those complications have been put behind us and we can complete this thing quickly." Fans have been a constant support on this project, even sending in flowers, trees and donations for grandma's garden just to be a part of this loving build. "We are pushing for its completion and can't wait to move them in."

More Music
Michael is actively working on his next album, which he hopes he can release to the fans before summer. Perhaps we will get a glimpse of the album with a Single release. No date announcement on either at this point, but Michael is working as quickly as he can without sacrificing the quality he is known for.

What 2012 Holds
"Definitely a new album, more touring, a lot more show dates. I just want to sing, it's what I do." 2012 is looking like it will be full of promising show dates, so definitly be checking for announcements on his website or social media sites. Michael will be continuously reviewing song submissions from numerous composers to consider for his future albums, while actively writing and colaborating on new songs of his own. He hopes that this year will bring a lot more radio play for his music, but regardless, fans will not be disappointed with what 2012 has in store for them and Michael Grimm.

Interesting that there were financial issues with the house. Wonder if they took on too much thinking Micheal would make it big

I am a little surprised he is working on another album since the last one didn't sell very well. Good luck to them all!

Some Michael Grimm news...finally!


New Album or Albums?

Michael's creative muse has consumed him and he has focused every spare second into recording not one, but FOUR new albums!! The series he is recording will release individulally but consecutively over a period of two years. Each album will feature a combination of covers and originals but be completely contrasting in style. "I believe a good singer can sing anything and I don't agree with the way the industry makes you choose a style and do nothing but that. I sing it all and fans want to hear it all, so why limit myself." Grimm states. This series of CDs will feature an Americana, Blues, Country and Soul album, although which one is to release first is a surprise. What is not a surprise is that it will be sooner than you think. The surprise album is slated to release by the end of May of this year. This will no doubt lead to another series of nationwide and hopefully international shows.

And Michael is appearing on a regular basis in Las Vegas:

Headlining in Las Vegas
Michael has taken up permanent residency as the first weekly headliner at the Ovation Room at Green Valley Ranch in Las Vegas. Starting April 21st, Michael will light up the stage every Saturday at 8pm, (11pm on May 12) with his full energy-filled band. As the new member of the Stations Casino family, he will also perform at the Access Showroom at the Aliante Resort once a month. See Michael's show schedule for dates and details. It's "self-released" so guess he's having to put out his music on his own now. He's a great talent but not mainstream enough to sell albums through a label, I guess! So much good talent out there...but they can't all be superstars! Personally, I love Michael's music!

The plus's of doing self released music is you get to do what you want and you don't have to give pretty much what you make to the label since you are pretty much it. Having a label is good but it is not great if you actually want to have some of your earnings.

Yes, looks like he was dropped by the label. Bummer for him... Once again it was the runner-up who became the big star. So odd how much that happens. Good luck to him. I enjoy him, but not really a super big fan. He seems like a lovely man though. Hope he is very happy with his life!

This is crazy! I like Caseys better then Michaels! I can maybe pick out 2 or 3 on Michaels that I like. The rest is boring. Sorry Michael!!

Man, this is a dead thread!!     Sad!  I love Michael's music but don't hear much about him.  Guess he stays in Vegas most of the time!   

Anyway, he's finally going on tour...a short one, but a tour nonetheless!
