MICHAEL GRIMM HAS TALENT!

It is sad....And Jackie is already on her way to her second platinum selling album and has a concert DVD. Talk about dropping the ball on Michael.

It's kind of like what happened with Taylor Hicks and Chris Daughtry. The show expected Chris to win. When he didn't, they just proceeded as if he had anyway.

Jackie was brought on the show to win. When she didn't, they proceeded as if she had.

But like Taylor, I'm sure Michael is doing better than most people would think.

Have been trying to find out what the sales numbers are for Michael's album. Here's what I found at ask.com:

He mentioned that he might make an appearance on AGT this season! I hope it happens! Would love to see him on TV again! It might even boost his album sales, you never know! Seems like such a sweet guy!

Have read on Michael fan site that there's no solo tour schedule yet, but he is doing some shows and will be the opening act for Stevie Nicks...not sure if it's just one show, a couple of shows or the whole tour. He's also scheduled to do some charity show in LA in August, I believe. Also, the show with Terry Fator and an appearance on AGT. Also heard that his album has been moving up on the Billboard charts recently due to mentions of him on AGT. He's an uber-talented guy, and things are starting to coming his way, and "his people" probably don't want to turn anything down! Anyway, patience is what's needed here...

Stevie Nicks mentioned on AGT last week that Michael was touring with her, so maybe that'll help album sales! Sadly, I don't think the show will be coming anywhere near me!

Potsie, I believe AGT runs through Sept. 13. I had read somewhere recently that Michael was going to be on in September. He's touring with Stevie Nicks from Aug. 9 through Sept. 4, so he could be on AGT on Sept. 6 or 13. We'll just have to keep our eyes and ears open for a definite date!

There's a show on Stevie's tour that's about 4 hours from me. There are still some good seats available for $55, but I cannot decide whether I want to go that far to see Michael as her opening act! I've always liked Stevie but don't know if that like stretches to a concert 4 hours away, when my main reason for going is the opening act! Years ago, I wanted to see Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and he was opening for Aerosmith in Charlotte, NC, I believe it was. Anyway, we went, and it was well worth it since I happened to like Aerosmith as well (just wouldn't have traveled 3.5 hrs. to see just them!). I might just hold out for a solo tour from Michael. It'll come, but I just might have to wait a little longer, that's all!

I know it is a super long drive and probably a sleep over - but I have a feeling Stevie puts on a great show! Might be a really fun night.

I could go to the Richmond or Norfolk VA shows easily, but they are GA venues! Ticks me off! Don't they know we older folks need to sit down once in awhile?!! I went to see Marc Broussard recently with my son, and it was at a GA venue in Raleigh. The music was great, and I'm glad I went, but 3 hours on my feet was way too much! DH won't even consider these venues at all! Dang! Whatever happened to theaters WITH SEATS!??? It's discrimination, I tell ya! So disappointed!

I'm with ya on that CC! I don't go to any venues where you cannot sit either.
