FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT - SINGLE INFO!

I thought I would start a thread about the single and how it is doing.

I read it had 33 spins yesterday - even though it hasn't gone to adds yet. It is going to Top 40 adds on Tuesday.

It has already won some of the "head to head" battles of new songs. I know FYE beat out the new Lifehouse on one station, and Carrie's new song on another station.

Please put any info you find about how the song is doing in this thread!

Wow looking great so far! I have no doubt that RCA is totally backing this single so I expect it take off.

This "Pulse" site is not a fan site of any kind. It is just a forum about new music released and they talk about the singles etc. So far most posters there really love the song and are predicting it to be a hit. For whatever that is worth :D

It's worth a lot because those are the kind of people Adam needs to like the song to make him successful. As important as the diehards are, we alone, cannot make him into the big star he is destined to be. We need a little help!

I haven't heard from my son as to what he thinks of the song. He's made some rather complimentary comments about Adam that sure warmed my heart because my son is Rock and Hard Rock all the way through! Judging from his remarks, he's read a few things on his own. He says Adam is very smart, knows how to talk to press and handles himself very well. He also thinks Adam and Slash should have worked something out and had Adam the singer for Velvet Revolver! He's also in awe of the vocal range Adam has and hopes he protects his voice. I love my son!

I looked for it to. people are pissed off and saying RCA is up to its old tricks of screwing around with their artist careers. I have said it before I don't trust RCA. I was hoping having Clive the Dinosaur Davis out of there may help things but it still seems that somehow they screw up.

I just checked Amazon too and it's not on there either.

Hopefully they're just behind on things and it should be up tomorrow. Sometimes that happens. One just has to be patient.

But I'll tell you now if it's not up tomorrow either there's going to be some serious explaining to do!

I am with you Canear - I don't do the iTunes thing - but all the young people do (and I am sure many older people do too) so it is important for Adam to have his single there for sale.

Itunes is huge because some people don't buy cd's anymore and also some people do not like all songs on cd's and sometimes they wasted their money. Itunes makes it so those people can get all the songs they like and makes it where they don't have to get the ones they don't like. I admit I LOVE Itunes cause I have got songs that I had never even heard of the group or singer before. The names of these artist came up in the recommendation area when I download different songs. It it wasn't fror Itunes I wouldn't have Ferras or Daniel Stori's songs. Neither have a physical cd out.

I listen to my ipod every day and it is great having only songs that I love on it.

See, I don't have an ipod or even an mp3 player I like to hold my physical CDs in my hands!! I like cover art and booklets with the lyrics! I am just an old fashion gal that way!!

Oh I have my physical cd's and my cd player to. I have too many cd's in all honestly I keep getting more cause I have to have all my favorite artist physical cd's.,(I will be getting Kris and Adam and Alli's physical cd's when they come out), So you can say I have ran out of room on where to put them.

As I said without Itunes we would of never got Danielle Stori's cd or Ferras because neither have a physical cd out so even if you guys do not haver Itunes you probably are glad that it is around right now cause you have got to enjoy these two amazing singers.

Oh don't get me wrong - I think iTines is great! I myself just never got into it. I honestly physical CDs will be going away at some point and iPods and downloads will be the norm.

That I pray never happens cause like I said i HAVE to have my favorite artist physical cd's. It just isn't the same when i don't have my favorites :(
