IDOL 8 PRESS CONCERT REVIEWS!

For the love of God why do i freaking do this I should know better than ever read one of the reviews for the shows because Kris is always going to get bashed on sorry if you guys don't agree but these critics are jerks when it comes to Kris.

I have to freaking stay out of this thread cause I know it makes me sad!!!!

it is like a bittersweet feeling i get. I love all the praise Adam gets but i am saddened that they feel it necessary to go and put down Kris all the times. I will add that it is the same thing when I find something that actually says something nice of Kris but then has to smack down Adam. I don't like it. I want to find one or two reviews where the critic will actually give praise to both guys!!!! I know it will be hell freezing over before that happens.

I know. Like I said before - if Kris were runner up and performed before Adam and Adam got to be the one to close out the show - these reviews would be different. They would say Kris was a nice lead in to the winner Adam. Instead he comes off looking too mellow and simple and like he should not have won because Adam is a hard act to follow.

This review goes with the usual warning for Kris fans not to read. Sorry guys. :pale: I do wish they'd stop comparing him to Adam though. They are 2 totally different artists, and there is no comparison. :hug:

My favorite line in it though is this one about Adam:

"...Lambert's imaginative interpretations of unlikely material were brilliant. His powerful voice seemed to shake the rafters..."

Well, he got that right anyway! :D

Yes, that is an awesome review!!! Adam must be thrilled!

That was the best part. Good review but I agree, singers can't be compared to each other as each draws their own audience and fans.

I wish they wouldn't compare him and Kris. Two totally different artists. There's nothing to compare.

And what's with them recognizing Lil over Matt? I'm happy they thought she made a good iimpression. I just find it odd that anyone would put her over Matt. Boggles my mind!

My baby Kris can not win; Jesus Christ these Critics are just mean to him :( They are haters and probably only like fast music; I bet none of the critics are asked to review Jason Mraz, John Mare and other soft rock singer/songwriter type artist. So unfair to Kris. Also so unfair to the other idols who are continuasly getting dumped on :(

Well he is human and was, from all accounts, very tired last night. He didn't go to the AP or buses. Yep, even Adam will have an off night!

I will need to find Bowie Medley vids from last night.

I know he can be tired - but I don't picture him looking awkward or forced doing Bowie

It could look that way to some people. It isn't my favourite part of his set so I can see how others might not care for it either or think it looks forced.

Just read the twin cities review. Not bad. This one would probably fall in the middle of the pack. It's not overly ecstatic but it's also not cruel. So I guess that would be a good thing.

It did say that Adam is going to be THE biggest star that AI has ever produced so I thought that was great! I think the reviewer just found Adam less energetic than usual last night ......... which was totally understandable considering he was running on nothing but adrenaline.

I have read that Kris, Adam and Danny work out together. I wonder if Danny started working out with them cause he was seeing how gorgeous and Fit Kradam were looking and he wanted to look like that. I posted a pic and Dannys arms when Flexed are looking good but when they are just normal not so hot, but Adam and Kris either way they have their arms is hot to me
