| USA Superstar snow boarder has withdrawn from the slope due to bad conditions. Norway’s Torstein Horgmo broke his collar bone in a test run. Canada's Max Parrot is running his mouth . He should be happy as he is now the Fav to win. White will still compete in the halfpipe http://www.yardbarker.com/author/article_external/15713669?mailing_id=2942&linksrc=mb_main_col_5Reports on the conditions of hotels is horrifying. Not enough pillows, beds, blankets and now stalls in mens bathrooms for privacy. Sounds like a nightmare | |

| I have been reading the horror stories from the journalists. Also, just saw an article about the MAJOR lack of visitors/tourists. Buses more than half empty taking people to the events. Serves them right for picking this hateful country for these Olympics! | |

| Like having a Super Bowl in NYC was not wise picking the Soviet Union was beyond insane. Already the terrorist warnings are high. Accommodations paltry. This will probably be the least attended Olympics ever. I am so afraid for the athletes. Security is non existent. Now I read that there isn't enough snow and conditions for the events poor. | |

| Indeed a terrible decision!
And they have warned pilots about toothpaste tubes being used for terrorism!!
You couldn't PAY me to go to these Olympics. Doubt I will even watch much of them!

| Watching the team skate. Plushenko about to skate.
Security is very tight for Russian locals to get into events. They have to go many hoops to get into events. Easier for Westerners to get in.

| The Canadian snowboarders lime the conditions. This is not Shaun'a specialty. He is holding back for half pipe. | |
