Did anybody watch the Tony's tonight? The show was sooooooooooooooooooooo good.
Hugh Jackman can do no wrong I loved when he did the thing from Music Man and then he had LL Cool J and TI join him. It was very very cool.
They took down the good video but i found this that has hugh doing part of the song on leno so posting this:
and here is Hugh, LL Cool j and TI: The audio is kind of off from the actual video
Wow to Audra McDonald making Tony History with her 6th win.
Idina Menzel was freaking amazing on her performance!!! She was so emotional on this just like when she did Defying Gravity on the Tony's where she won. She is just soooooooooooo locked into the emotion of it all.
Gladys Knight, Patti Labelle were so on as usual but I have to give props to Fantasia. She was what I consider calm Tasia and sounded really good. She didn't go all crazy up there like she would do many times on Idol. Oh hated Tasia's dress. Oh have to give Dule Hill,(Psych), major props the man can so dance.
Jennifer Hudson sounded brilliant on the song she sang. I swear the girl who was dancing around as Peter Pan seriously looked like Melanie from SYTYCD,(She was a winner).
ETA: I just checked and I was right. It was Melanie dancing around. So congrats to Mel for getting this gig!!! Check this article out. Melanie didn't just get this gig she will be in the ensemble for the musical.
Neil's performance was great and he for sure was having fun.
Loved the Les Mis performance so much. Ramon playing Val Jean was brilliant and the guys who played Marious and Enjorlas was amazing to. Wasn't feeling the girl who played Eponine or the guy playing Javert but the three I mentioned as liking made up for those two.
The Wicked performance was so nice and so sweet.
Bravo to Allan Cummings for reprising his role in Cabaret which he had won a Tony for.
Congrats to all the winners, Neil, Audra, Brian and so on. All are so freaking talented.
ETA: I wanted to be some of those women that were nominated for awards cause they got to interact with Hugh

Did not watch. I usually don't since I am not into Broadway. But thanks for all the info. I am happy for Neil and I will tell Eric and Justin about Bryan (correct spelling) since they love him. Breaking Bad was there all time fave TV show.

It isn't all Musicals that are nominated it is also plays. Bryan won for playing President LBJ in a play and Audra McDonald also won for her role in a play.

Oh I know it is not all musicals. I have watched the Tonys in the past. Just saying since I don't follow Broadway and don't know most of the actors/actresses I just seldom watch the awards show. I usually only watch award shows when someone I am a fan of is nominated. I watched The Tonys the year Constantine was nominated. That was the last time.

I am so not happy many of the videos I posted have been taken down. FC Neils acceptance speech also is not there anymore. I don't know if youtube made them take them down or not
I replaced as many videos as I could hope they are as good.

Angel I watched the Tony awards as I love Broadway. Love seeing scenes from the musicals. I wouldn't mind seeing more from the plays too. LOVED Hughes as the host. I missed the opening though. It really is my favorite award shows.

Bummer. I did watch your video of Neil's performance and I am glad I got to see his acceptance speech. It was lovely.
The show is over and won't be repeated so why take the vids down??

Very strange. The opening was supposed to be spectacular.
