I wish they would open up these new rules to past season's contestants. I'm glad they're allowing this year's top 20 to come back and try out again. However, it sure doesn't seem fair to all the many others who made top 20/24/36 in the past who never had that opportunity. I've always felt those who didn't make the final 10/12/13 should have been allowed to audition again. Saying that all I really hope Nick tries out again. I would love to see Johnny again too.

I would love to see Michael Castro audition again.

FC, for Jhud and Candice to sing Inseparable it had to be in the already purchased song catalog. Natalie is probably just upset she was not asked to sing it with Candice. But I have read, Natalie has a fondness for booze and doesn't perform much anymore and hasn't in years.

What wonderful news about Kree being invited to perform at the Opry!!! That's an amazing opportunity and I am so happy for her!

Yes, let me add my congrats to Kree! What a wonderful thing for her to appear on the Opry stage...and with Keith and Kellie Pickler too!!

I thought it was odd that NM didn't perform last night. Wonder why, not that I'm complaining, mind you!! I was so disappointed in Mariah's performance; I love her and love her music, but lip-syncing, Mariah???! Could not believe it!

ETA: OK, they're saying she did NOT lip-sync! Must've been the sound system, but there was something off about it!

At some points I thought she was singing and at others not so much. I think something had to have been wrong with the sound. CC, she has lip-synced in the past so it wouldn't have been the first time. I know it's still quite disappointing though especially when you're such a fan.

It would be nice to see Nick and Johnny again. Maybe the chosen one next year will be a white guy on keyboard.

Mariah's appearance was taped so perhaps that was part of the problem.

I told you guys there was technical problems here for Mariah so I think something was off for sure. We had a ton of commercials and then all of sudden she was there already singing - no intro or anything - just mid song.

Inseparable is for sure in the cleared area cause I believe Kim Locke did it and I know for a fact Jasmine Trias did it; it was one of the songs that Jasmine was very strong on. I think Natalie is just ticked she did not get mentioned for the song.

Congrats to Kree for getting the gig to perform at the Opry. I pray that Vince Gill and Garth Brooks will be there so she can meet them.

Ahh FC ((hugs)) but the bright side is Kree amassed a huge fanbase, is singing at the Grand Ole Opry and will make additional connections. As you know it is after the show that matters most.

Yes, and I fear for Angie and Kree. We know most of them don't make it in the real music world.

FC if you can get your invite to the Grand Old Opry then you can meet loads big names in the Country World and start making big time connections. Also don't know if all know this but getting the invite to perform at the Opry is not a guaranteed thing not all Country singers get the honor and there are many who has never became members of it. Of the idols I do believe Carrie and Kellie are members but I do not know about Josh, Bucky, Scotty or Lauren. For Kree when she performs I want Vince and Garth and other big names there so she can meet some of Country's best so they can see how mega talented she is. Just so it is known Vince Gill in all his awesomness is also a producer. I would love him to write with Kree as well Angie and produce their cd's it probably would never happen on the producing area but oh it would be amazing. Oh also on the Kree front hoping that Brad Paisly see's her cause he has been very awesome when it comes to the idols. Maybe Kree could tour with him or Keith Urban. When Kris toured with Keith he said he learned soooooooooooooooo much from him and made a good friend. I bet the same would happen for Kree.

Hey I through in Angie in there cause Vince writes with his wife Amy Grant who is one of the top selling Christian singers ever and if Angie does ever do the Christian route maybe she could work with Vince and Amy and possibly Michael W. Smith,(he is one of the best selling male Christian singers ever). Vince has co-produced three or four of Amy's cd's.

By the way I love that pic of the two ladies. They look beautiful and so in the moment. Having their eyes shut and just praying.

Two big things happened for Kree and Angie
Kree received an invite to the Grand Ole Opry
Angie was invited to sing before a JessieJ concert. With luck and timing hopefully Jessie adds Angie as an opening act.

I know Bucky has performed at the Opry but not sure about Casey James or Josh.
Shannon Amy Grant has a new CD out and there is a duet with Vine (her husband too). The reviews are really good. Amy has such a lovely voice and she hasn't recorded in a long time.

I think Kree will be just fine. Keith was really supportive of her and I think he will help guide her. There is apparently a buzz about her in Nashville so she needs to go there to record.

Angie will be fine as well. AI is just a platform and it is what you make of it after the show is done that determines your success (as Adam has said). Angie strikes me as a hard worker and wanting the success so I think she will make the most of this opportunity with JesseJ and go from them. Of course, it is all a crapshoot but only time will tell.

I just watched the video of Candice on Leno last night. Once I find a Youtube I will bring it here. She was very well spoken and funny and quite comfortable with Jay. She sang her single and was spectacular!

Kree already lives in Nashville and I hear maybe friends with Kellie Pickler and Aimee Mayo the songwriter. I have a feeling Kree will be just fine.

Kree will most certainly be welcomed into the country music world with open arms!

Canear, you are not alone; I'm not an Angie megafan but I just don't put it into words here! I think she's talented, but she also has a lot of work to do on her stage presence. IMHO, she just comes off as very fake; I think it's the grinning and looking into the camera for me...much too pageant-like to be believable. If she'd loosen up like she did on her home visit, that would go a long way in picking up more fans. A diamond-in-the-rough who just needs a little more polish, that's all. (Sorry, megafans, but I understand we are allowed to express our opinions here without being leaped upon and beaten about the head and shoulders, right??!! ) Now...

No surprise there! I enjoy just reading and smiling! The world would be terribly boring if we all agreed all the time, wouldn't it?!

Saw Kree and Candice's interviews after the show, and they were both so articulate and seemed so relaxed...and probably relieved that it was all over!! Great job, girls!!
