Poor Lauren. It's best she take it easy though. She has her future to worry about! Sure wish I could watch the GMA concert tomorrow morning. Oh well, I'll have to catch it on Youtube after work.

I vote for more James. He got jipped with only two songs.

Oh yes! I vote for that idea too canear! A couple more James songs would be nice! It probably won't happen though.

The show was exactly the same, just no Lauren 3 song set and no Scotty and Lauren duet and James sang the little duet with him and Lauren in the finale as a solo. I am very disappointed and may try to catch another show, either in Atlantic City on Saturday or better yet next Friday in DC since I’m not sure if Lauren will be better by Saturday. Still a very good show but would have been better with Lauren and the full show. James started the 2d half and walked right by me as I had floor seats. He had the crowd on their feet for both his songs and got the 2d loudest cheers after Scotty. I never really was much of a Scotty fan but do have to say he won me over as he has tons of charisma. I also really enjoyed Niama, which kind of surprised me and she had the audience on their feet during her set. Pia has such an amazing voice but just couldn’t capture the audience. The only one I did not like at all was Casey. He must be one you either love or hate and for me it is the latter (although hate may be too strong of a word). It was a good show but would have been better with Lauren – booooo!!

Awww. Such a bummer for that fan and all the many others in the audience who most wanted to see Lauren.

That is a fine thing to write but the complaint on Stefano and he getting the 2 solos and the duet shouldn't be a thing cause Stefano has shown he is just as popular on the tour as James. I fully agree with the person on Pia having way toooooooooooooo many songs. Haley was number three so if you go by other tours then the number three person got at least 3 songs.

ETA: California King Bed is Pia's thing Stefano just gets to sing with her; The song comes during her set from what I get. I believe Moanin,(sp?), comes during Haley's set so it is pretty much her thing and Casey is just singing with her.

James Durbin 'just can't wait to be home'

James Durbin paces near trucks and tour buses in the 1st Mariner Arena's outside load-in area around 7 p.m., just before the show starts. Buds rest in his ears, blasting music, and he's donning a studded jean vest with the words, "Give metal a chance" stitched on the back.

Later that night, after a minimal hair and makeup routine — none, actually, Durban, 22, says — he will take the stage for two songs. Two songs he wishes he could change.

"I'm limited here," the Santa Cruz, Calif. rocker says. "The songs are not my choice. If I picked them, I would have picked different songs. You have to do this, you can't go (play) your own songs."

But Durbin says he hopes his set on the Idols Live tour will show fans that it will be "worth the wait for my show."

"It's that opportunity for me to show what I'm going to bring to my show."

But for now, he "can't wait to get home" and start his own music, he says. He's also over the Adam Lambert comparisons.

"Some lady came up and was like, 'Are you going to sing Mad World?'" referencing the Tears for Fears song that Idol's season eight runner-up performed on the show. "And I'm like, 'F*** no.'"

Hours earlier, Durbin caught up with USA TODAY for a video interview. He played coy about a potential record deal ("Just keep your eyes open and your ears wide like mine," he says in the video), and told fans to watch out for an interview in Revolver. Durbin also revealed that he "just can't wait to be home," and misses his girlfriend Heidi and son Hunter. Who does Durbin think is the messiest? Which Idol winner gave him an iPod touch he can't live without?

I cannot wait to see what "the world" thinks. It will be interesting....

It was a stupid question to ask him in the first place. Any true James fan would know that he wouldn't touch Mad World with a ten foot pole. Someone was trying to get a reaction out of him. He could have said a lot worse.

This part of the world will be very interested in what his future holds.

Maybe she wasn't a James fan. Maybe she was just an Idol fan and was hoping for Mad World because she liked it. Maybe she just remembered a rocker did it and was confused. We don't know. He doesn't know. Hope he didn't really say "Fuck No" to the woman.

I was completely serious that I can't wait to see what the world thinks of him/his music. I think it is going to be very interesting indeed.

I have given my tour ticket to my son. He and Louis will be going to the show together. I would have had alot of trouble getting around there and it didn't seem like such a great show anyhow. I do hope they enjoy it. They will be staying over at the Tropicana and Stanley will be going to his second home so he will have many dogs to play with there.

I am not sure if Stefano went out 7th or 8th but if you go by past seasons like season 8 Scotty went out 8th and both Anoop & Lil went out 7th They all got at least 2 solos and Scotty got the duet with Matt,(I think they got that cause it was scrapped from the final when they were supposed to perform). So really Stefano is not getting special treatment at all. Yes I wonder why James got short changed and what comes to mind is Pia. Pia got all the special treatment for this tour so if anybody of the 10 is to blame it is her not Stefano, not Casey who I believe went 5th and for sure not Haley cause she was top 3. The person who wrote the thing has a right to be mad but not at the people she mentioned,(except Pia of course. she had the right to be ticked on that front.).

I seriously believe Stefano got the duet purely on the reason they needed someone to sing with Pia and his voice works well with hers. If one of the other guys would of sounded better with her maybe they would of got the duet.

ETA: just found what I was looking for and Stefano went out 7th so he was in the position of where Anoop and Lil were season 8.
