| Aw, you're too kind. I am not gorgeous.............far from it. Lucky for my boys, they inherited more of the Greek genes! Funny out of my 4 GK, my GD is the only one with the dark hair and brown eyes! She did get a pair of very long skinny legs and that comes from both her parents and me. Thank you everyone for the kind remarks. I won't be leaving the pics up much longer. | |

| Happy Belated New Year Drifty! Well, laydees, I am out of here for a little while. Hubby is scheduled for a laminectomy ( cervical spine fusion) tomorrow and we are leaving tonight to get a hotel and be at the hospital in a neighboring city at the crack of dawn tomorrow. This should be an adventure... Hopefully will be back tomorrow evening. I am gearing up for my nurse maid stint. Over and out.... | |

| Yes, I looked it up after HL posted. I just wonder what the problem was - backaches? Neck issues?
One of my daycare dads had back/neck surgery and it was a long recovery time for him. | |

| We got back home last night and hubby is doing really well. Eating, moving around fine, and minimal pain. They fused the C-5 and C-4 vertebrae in his spine with a device that releases the nerve that was being impinged and causing him chronic shoulder pain and some of the numbness in his hands. He will probably need it done again for some other vertebrae in his spine because he has the same problem in other areas...but, this was not a huge deal from how it has gone so far. He will be off work for a 1-2 weeks, and possibly on a reduced work load/schedule for a month or so. Thanks everyone for your concern. It is good to be home! | |
