From what I understand, she didn't tell him about the other children. Also, apparently having already had multiple children isn't a deal-breaker in terms of getting fertility treatments.

Well, I can completely understand that having children already is not a deal breaker for getting fertility help - though for the life of me I don't understand needing help when you already have six kids!! But I think when someone already has 6 under 7 years old SOMEBODY ought to tell her to at least consider waiting for the little ones to get a little older before adding to the brood! As it is, it is difficult to give all that you can to 6 under 7 years old - how do you begin to take the proper care and love of those existing children when you add multiple newborns to the mix??

I don't care if it is a deal breaker or not , there should be some kind of psychology test involved. Plus I don't believe she should have been allowed to have 8. I know we have freedom of choice in this country but please not when the taxpayer ends up paying for it. I heard on CNN the doctors are under investigation. They should be that is totally iressponsible. I supoose her other option is reality show to help pay for those kids. GRRRRR!

I thought I had read the same doctor that did the IVF the other times did this one as well? Totally wrong........and what was the cost????? How could she afford this?

One of her sons is autistic too.

Wherever will she find the time to shoot her TV show?

Ha, I am sure some "group" will donate a house to her or Extreme Home Make-Over will do a two hour special and fix things up! Probably what she was hoping for! Free fancy house to go with her TV show

Oh, and for the record - if I asked my Mom to watch my 6 little kids while I had 8 more babies first she would have died laughing and then she would have smacked me upside the head!

Most would do the same!! Uh, that would be a NO, I'm not watching your 6 kids under the age of 7 and I certainly won't watch your 14 children. Good grief, that's asking a lot of any person.

Sounds like some serious dysfuntion and co-dependancy going on there. But, I guess you can make a pretty good living on welfare with 6 kids....

I just saw on ET that she is unemployed, no insurance, not married, nobody knows who the father is and the hospital bill is expected to hit about $3,000,000.00 ET said some people are saying she was looking for a "cash cow" and was hoping this story would bring her big money. I bet she expects a book or movie of the week deal

I've asked from the beginning, who paid for the IVF....in the interview, she said she saved, and saved for it.......... So another baby was more important than her other 6 children??? I hope she gets NO deals.

My father always had the same answer whenever me or my sister wanted something that wasn't ever going to happen:

"Yeah, well, the people in Hell want ice water too."

Yep, she was probably hoping some of the babies had health issues so she can collect even more disability checks! She is a wacko! Now that I know some of her children from the first go around have disabilities I am all the more angry that she did this!! Those kids needed their MOM (not grandma's) full attention. How ever will they get the proper love and care now that they have 8 babies to compete with! This whole situation is criminal in book!

Lord That woman is carazy! HER MOTHER is taking care of those six kids. Did you see how cramped they were. The doctor that gave her IVF should be investigated. I am still scratching my head as to how she came up with the money to pay for it. you know it ain't cheap.

It wouldn't surprise me IF there is more to the story on how she could afford the IVF.

I just got in from Jewel/Osco and read your email. I was going to copy and paste it here - but thanks for bringing the link here.

I JUST BOUGHT A BAG OF THOSE TODAY! I serve these to the daycare kids with every lunch (I put fat free ranch dip in these cute dipping cups and they scarf them down!) and we put them in our salads all the time!!

I usually throw them out when there is too much white stuff on them because I figured they just were not fresh anymore. I had NO IDEA this was being done!!!!!!! How could we not know this??

I don't know - we had a pool and used the bleach and most of my daycare kids have big pools and use the bleach - so I do not know how big of a health issue this is, but I sure think we should have known about this all along.

It really bums me out because they are soooo easy for lunch and salads. Do you know if they do this to the carrot sticks that come in the containers with the water? I could substitute those for the petites

Oh, the other thing is I have bought the bags of organic ones and they go white even faster! I threw away some organic ones today because of the white on them and that is why I bought a new bag of petites today. So clearly organic doesn't help us in this matter.

Read the Snopes link I posted, it clarifies it a bit more and doesn't seem quite as scary, but I still won't be buying them.
