Allison - The Rocker Chick

I noticed they weren't on the list when I just checked a little while ago. I hope the numbers are good or at the least don't plummet very much compared to last week.

I agree if both Kris and Alli can sell at least in the 20,000 area that would be good cause it shows steady selling as I have said before.

On the list the Number 50 cd sold around 33,000 if Kris & Alli could land in the 51 to 56 area I think they would be okay. Kris sold around 23,000 last time so if he could sell the same it would be good. For Alli she has to have better numbers than the last time and I pray she does. Like I said if her cd could be around the 18,000 to 20,000 it would be good for her cause that would show sales went up for her.

Whatever happens with both I just hope Jive stands behind them.

Again I'm stating positive and optimistic. I just can't think of that dreaded D word.

I hope those who were there at Kimmel on Thursday night that didn't know about Allison until then liked her enough to check her out. The same can be said about those who watched at home. I'm sure some of them had to and even f it was just a few.well that's better than none.

Kimmel should of done a lot for her and I agree hopefully people that were there and saw her decided to check out her cd.

Yes, hopefully the New Year's gig helps her out. I hope they've got some big promo spots for her set up in the New Year. She needs to be seen.

Alli sang FIBOY and Holiday. The girl was rocking out. She looked very adorable in her dress. I thought her hair was cute but it got distracting when it kept falling in her face. She sounded great.

If you notice she kind of went a little punk style rock with the songs especially the first!

Yes she sang FIBOU the same at Kimmel as she did here. More punk rock. I thoroughly liked it then and I like it even more here!

What is wrong with people why aren't they buying Allison's single or Cd? Her single and cd are no where in the top 200 on Itunes and the cd is in the 200's on Amazon. Her physical copies are selling but barely. I just don't understand this. Her cd is amazing!!!!

People Pray for Alli. Pray that Jive gets her some good gigs for the year.

I do hope Allison is successful.............I don't like her single release and I wish they'd release one of the other songs as a single. I'm not sure what direction she wants to go with her music. I feel people thought she would put out more of a 'rock' sound (think Heart, Joplin, etc.) and not dance/pop.....that just doesn't seem like what she should be doing. Just my opinion though.

People forget that most people from Idol really don't get to go in their preferred Direction. Alli probably wanted to go the harder route and that is why when she performs the songs live there is a punkish more harder edge to the songs. Adam was extremely lucky to be aloud to go in the direction he wanted for his first cd out. Kris even in a way got to go in the direction he wanted.

I can't imagine why they wouldn't let her go Rock/Punk. That seemed to be the direction the judges felt she should go in.

I think regardless of her vocal ability - something about her just never got people really into her.

You've got a point there FC. Something just wasn't clicking for a lot of people when it came to Allison. But then you have to wonder if people weren't into her then how did she get all the way to the top 4? She couldn't have made it that far otherwise and it certainlly wasn't just solely based on her talent. So much of the show is based on popularity rather than the talent, which is good in some ways but in other ways not so much. Sure there were/are the Kradison supporters, but that only goes so far too. In any case I too hope great things happen for her and I believe they will. I think in Allison's case she just needs to grow up a little more and get used to the business. I really feel like that would help and go along way for her. She also needs to become more savvy. She'll get there in time with practice and experience.

That is the point isn't it Sky? That she's actually given the chance. She has it right now and hopefully she continues to have it. Hopefully those who have invested in her don't give up on her and allow her the time to grow, get better and actually find her place - the place she's meant to be.

If Jive is not Drop Happy like RCA and Arista then she should be okay. Hopefully they will do some good stuff for Alli during the new year which will help pick up her fan base.

Her cd is so good and deserves to be promoted and put out there. Alli's talent deserves to be put out there and promoted.

I am putting my faith in Jive for two people,(well more likely four if you include David A. and Jordin but as of right now I am more worried about Kris and Alli), and I pray that both of them are aloud to continue on the label.

What they need to do also is get her face out there. She got promotion for the album but not nearly as much as Kris and Adam. She needs more face time both on TV and in person.
