Allison - The Rocker Chick

I sure hope they like it too. I think it sounds good. Some of the songs actually seem very Pink-esque to me. And you know how much I love Pink. But even with the Pink influence I think it's perfectly Allison. It suits her. So I think I'll quite like the CD.

For sure some Pink Influence but for sure Alli.

I can't wait for November 17, 23 and December 1 to have my Kradison's cd's!!

I like Holiday and a couple other ones. I will wait for a full listen to decide. God - I must say that single is just awful!!!

That's the way I feel too FC. Compared to her single, the rest of the cuts aren't bad, so I am waiting to hear all of the other songs. The single isn't like anything else on the CD.

Yeah, for me only Holiday stood out from the snippets. I am going to wait for an AOL full listen before I buy. I have been burned too many times buying full CDs and not liking many songs. I am not a huge fan so I don't feel the need to have this. I liked more of the songs on Kris's than what I have heard so far from Ali's.

I don't know why so many people don't like the single. I really like it. It is bouncy and it is something I can get into when I am working around the house doing exercizes and so on.

I hope you guys will like the cd when you hear the full songs. I think it is going to be good.

People have different tastes in music. I don't like 'pop' music because it usually all sounds the same. It's a perfectly good song if you like that kind of music. I just don't think it is the true Allison kind of song. She has a powerful voice, she should use it. I loved Holiday, from what I heard.

FIBOU is the only song on the album that is very teen oriented. The others, from what I can tell by the snippets alone, are more adult geared. Like I said in one of my posts above in some of the songs I get a very Pink/Kelly Clarkson vibe and sound. But it's definitely all Allison. I liked what I heard so far. That's probably because I love that kind of music re Kelly and Pink. At the same time it will probably be my least favorite of the three. Not because it won't be good or it isn't Allison but just because I prefer the guys more. I'll have to wait for the full album though to really say anything. I do know for sure I'm going to love Scars.

I love Pink and Kelly - but not sure about Ali just yet.

To me that single is just annoying as all get out!

I'm not very fond of the single myself, but I'm not letting just the one song determine anything. A lot of the others sound very good and far surpass the single. Just wait to hear more girls. You might change your mind once you've heard full songs.

Jim's thoughts on the 30 sec song snippets. He's not digging it very much. Honestly he's quite rough on the songs. It seems to me he much prefers Kris and Adam's albums over hers least from this early review. His thoughts can obviously change after the full CD listen. Even so at the moment he's pretty disappointed since Allison was one of his faves.

Whoa Lindsey went there. She said she thinks Alli's singing is the best Idol single. WOW!

I like the single but I didn't think it was the best.

I agree with Alli that the cd's the three are putting out are all them. The sound of the songs; the tone and mude is for sure all of them. I can't wait to get their cd's.

Jim's says it how he see's it. He was a tough on SOME of Kris's stuff and he was honest with Adams so I am not surprised he layed it how he see's it for Alli's.

That's a pretty heavy statement. I'm quite surprised she thinks that about Allison's single. Would not have expected that opinion from her. I'm honestly quite baffled and don't understand her thought process as far as that goes but different strokes for different folks and all that jazz. She has her reasons. Just wish I knew what the heck they were then maybe I could make sense of things. But even if I did I'd never ever say Allison's song is the best Idol debut single. Nope. Not by a freaking long shot.

That's true Angel and I respect Jim for being honest even if somewhat critical. I think he's one of the best out there.

Yeah as I said I really like Alli's single but for sure not the best. For First singles from actual first cd's I would put "Miss Independent" from Kelly Clarkson up as one of the best, Jesus Takes The Wheel from Carrie also is up there for me, Chris Daughtry's first song was a heavy hitter for sure.

Also for best IDOL song ever; Lindsey is putting herself out there by saying one of Adam's is like the top song of any idol ever. I have a feeling people are going to want Lindsey to back up this tweet with why she picked Alli's and Adam's songs for best debut and best song for an idol.

Since I haven't heard this song of Adam's i can't say if it is the best idol song ever or not!

Well the song she mentions by Adam "Music Again" is one she got the pleasure of listening to a few weeks ago. It's the one she went absolutely gaga over in her review. She's completely head over heels in love with that song so I can understand her saying that's the best Idol song. It's only her opinion of course.

I admit I've been listening to the longer extended snippet of that song repeatedly over the last two days. It's the one I keep going back to it aside from If I Had You and Sleepwalker. It's just stuck in my head. I can't get it out and I can't stop wanting to listen to it. Michael Slezak also picked that song as his absolute fave so far based on the snippets. I can't remember what Jim thought of it.

I think it's one of more heavily favored and popular songs among the fans too. Least from what little I've read.

That is true it is only an opinion and it could be like me being totally in love with Kris's "I Need To Know" which I admit as of right now is my favorite idol song,(George Huff's "You Know Me" is tied with Kris's song for Favorite song ever. Chris's Tennessee Line and Home are probably my second and third favorite Idol songs ever and "Permanent" from David Cook and "Because of You" from Kelly Clarkson are tied for fourth.); so looking at things that way then Lindsey can say that of Adam's song. But Alli's she needs to explain!

I need to go hear the clips for Adam again to listen to the one that Lindsey likes.

I think Lyndsey's feeling over "Music Again" is probably EXACTLY like your love affair with Kris "I Need To Know". So I wouldn't look too far into that or try to analyze the heck out of it.

Yeah I had heard the clips but I needed to listen to them again and now that I listen to "Music Again" I remember thinking when I first heard it is has a Meatloaf/Queen type vibe to it. I do believe it is going to be a great song. For me my favorite clip of the longer ones is for "SleepWalker". I really think "SleepWalker" coiuld be my fave from Adam's cd unless I hear a ballad on it that trumps it :)

**Yeppers Lyndsey needs to explain how and why she picked Alli's single as the best debut single ever for an idol!!!!! Love the song yes best debut not a chance in heck!
