Well it is official I made it through my first season of Idol without watching one episode     So does that mean I am just over Idol or what?  I honestly do not know what it was but I just didn't feel the need to watch this season.  I know i was hooked on Criminal Minds this season,(Have to see Shemar Moore; Love that man and he is freaking hot.  I follow him on Facebook and love it when he calls all us ladies following him Baby Girls    Love him), but usually I feel the pull of AI but after last season and Angie going out third I just didn't have any more urges to watch.  I thank the show for introducing me to the likes of Kelly, Clay, Josh Gracin, Diana Degarmo, George Huff, Jennifer Hudson, Jasmine Trias, Anthony Fedorov, Carrie Underwood, Joseph Murena, Taylor Hicks, Chris Daughtry, Elliott Yamin, Kellie Pickler, Mandisa, Jordin, Haley Scarnato, The David's,(I actually was already a fan of Archuletta already), Jason, Kris, Adam, Allison, Crystal, Stefano, Josh, Holly and Angie.  There are a few more that I really liked but just not going to post all names.  I really thank the show for having them all on there but I am just done.  Last season was not good except for Angie the country chick and the the gal that came in second and from what I have heard this season wasn't any better.  It just seems to me AI has ran its course.  The only way I think I will watch again is if it has a season like 2,5,7 and 8,(the Three best seasons of all with soooooooooooo much talent).  Also think I would watch if they had something special that had the top 3 or 4 from each season on.

I think what it is is after season 8 with my Kradam nobody got to me like Kris and Adam. Yes I liked many from season 9 on but not like Kris & Adam and others before them. My top 2 idols of all time are my Kradam and then George, David A, Diana, Kelly, Taylor, Chris, Anthony, Clay, Alli and so on. Kris and Adam ruined Idol for me if that makes sense. They were magic for me from the start.

I do wish Idol luck though.

I think it means you are over Idol. I am, too. I've turned the show on every week, but not once did I stay awake the whole time. I slept through last night's show. I don't think it is the show itself, but we are just tired of it. It's old news to those of us who have watched since the beginning. It's normal to get bored with anything after so long.

I think the lack of being invested in one of the finalist has a lot to do with it too.

I voted for Jena, but that was more because I don't want Caleb to win   

Looking forward to seeing Phillip tonight!!

Two years in a row I have not been invested at all.

Didn't like Candice or Kree. Loved Angie

Didn't like Jena from the jump. Liked Caleb until his big mouth and dated music choices
became apparent. My Favs Alex & Sam went out at 3 & 5 and seeing this finale still has me
pissed Spencer was not selected when he should have been!

Also for me last night had to be the worst top 2 performances EVER.
Both sucked on 2 songs.

At least Candice and Kree gave impeccable vocal performances even if they were not my personal taste.

I could not bring myself to vote for either.

Hopefully Idol is saddled with Caleb. All of that sick 1 MILLION times sick shit last week to garner sympathy votes still sickens me. TPTB just wanted Alex out.

At least the Voice knows that big is not always better and Usher said so.

Looking forward to seeing Alex and Jason, Sam and Phillip.

Thats about it.

Oh and if Caleb even attempts to sing the same Kiss songs as Adam I swear I will go postal.

It was not a very exciting Top 2 night that is for sure.  Seeing Harry dressed up was nice though!!      Keith looked really good too!

Looking so forward to Phillip (AWoP is picking on Phillip in the main thread today) Jess, Alex, Majesty, Sam singing with Phillip and Harry!!

Alex tweeted that he was sick on Tuesday so more people knew he was sick before they knew about Caleb. Also Caleb had a vocal hemorrhage which is a lot more serious than bronchitis. Don't forget the same thing happened with Lauren Alaina and she almost lost her place in the final 2 because of it.

I thought Jena and Caleb both did very very well tonight but I'd give a teensy edge to Caleb on the strength of "Dream On" which was the best performance of the night. I was a little worried at first but he nailed it. I give the edge to Jena on the second song and I think they tied on the last.

Having said all that, I will be shocked if Jena doesn't win. I've had her pegged as the winner from Top 8. I actually Caleb would be a shocking elimination so he's gone further than I thought he would even though he's been my favorite all season.

I don't see either one becoming a big recording star although Jena has a slightly better chance. I can see both doing well in live performances and concerts though. Not necessarily selling out huge arenas but having good consistent careers as live performers.

There is a reason I don't go to AWoP any longer.  Their intolerance for anyone but Adam is ridiculous.

Can't wait to see Phillip and Sam tonight!!  ....and Alex with Jason Mraz should be awesome as well.

I haven't been to AWoP in ages. So many groups get like that. My cook group became a nasty bunch of hags. When Adam did so well on Idol is went they went really nuts.

Let's see if Caleb has any spark(le) with Kiss!!

But Badger, I am happy for you that your fave is in the running.  Wish it was Jess, but at least I have no nerves about tonight.  Whoever wins - wins.  Won't really effect me.  When it was Adam and Phillip I was a nervous wreck!!  I really thought Clay would win so I don't think I was as nervous.  Little did I know....

I'm only watching because I hold a little hope that Adam and Queen will surprise us.

Well, that would be awesome, but I am not holding out too much hope.  But dang what a wonderful surprise to end the show just before the big announcement!

Okay Sam and Phillip were awesome! They sure showed up Caleb and Jena. Now if they would just show me Alex and Jason, I could turn the show off!

Ok Jena and Caleb both SUCKED

Jena was a mush mouth and Caleb proved for all that he is NO Adam Lambert.

Phillip and Sam were Awesome.    Sam did his own spin on Home and I loved it.

Phillip I just love love love. So much CHARISMA> Hot Damn.

Jess was so good. She sang Wrecking Ball better than Jena or Christina (the voice) did.

Oh FC JLo can't sing and all she does is primp and pose and sell SEX!

I missed Phillip and Sam.....I will have to catch a You Tube.  Rob got home from work and I was talking to him.

I saw Jess and I totally LOVE HER!!  So hope she gets signed by someone

Yeah, Caleb and Jena have not impressed me this last two nights at all.  It should be Jess and Alex.

Well even with Kiss for me Caleb showed he is NO Adam. Not vocally and not performance wise.
Same ole same ole Rock stick. Nothing interesting, unique etc.

Spirit, I thought Dream On sucked the entire first half of the song. No wistful, no emotion and an off pitch mess. Once it powered up , Yep Caleb was fine.

FC I would have preferred a Jess/Alex finale.

The only time I wasn't nervous was Adam. I thought he would win by a landslide.

I was in shock and dismayed when NAL won and still it stings.

Hathor, after Bill O'Reily and Gokey's church etc.  I feared for Adam.  I knew the gay thing was going to be an issue.  But he certainly should have won by a landslide!
