Ca near that sounds very nice. I have two nieces and two nephews. We haven't seen them in ages as they are scattered all over. My nephew Sam lives here as he is going to University. Just found his face book page.

Found out the Mil and Fil are selling their townhome in Kelowna and want to move back to Coquitlam. So now they will be closer. I bet Bil a happy dance (not) that his mom will be in the same town.

Going to an Open House for the City. They want input on what residents want for the next fovevyear phase. Love this place. They actually listen to people.

This is local government. Run by business men who know that a city needs whys people want or need sun as sports and recreation. The one I voted on was a cultural Centre for music and arts. They already did a great job on sports and recreation on the last phase. We are a pro business community o we have a strong tax base from bringing Costco, Walmart, Future Shop and opening new shopping areas. We still retain Lot's of outdoor activities too and always adding parks and fixing trails etc.

So I take it that you BIL doesn't get along with his mother Kate?    

It's dull, cool day here but at least the temperature is on the rise!  I had a wonderful visit with my niece and got caught up on everything.  It's always so nice to see her.  She has to check her schedule but she might come with me to my sister's at the beginning of May to attend the shower for my nephew's fiancé.  It would very nice if she does.  

Hopefully Hathor and her family have made it safely to their destination.  She will be glad to know the Bruins won another one today.  Now the Leafs just have to get their stuff together.  Loosing seven in a row just isn't acceptable especially when you're trying to get into the playoffs!

I saw that.      I'm certain they will get it together in time for the playoffs.  I also stand by my prediction that the Leafs will beat the Bruins when they play them on the 3rd of April.  It would be a good time for them to do it since Hathor won't see it.   

She can be a bit of a pain in the arse. She always seems to say something on the phone that gets me too. She doesn't like that he likes his beer on the weekend. He has had the same job for ever, owns his own place, has a great daughter who he raised mostly on his own etc. He can be a dick but when push comes to shove he is there for people. She was an awful mom when she divorced hubby's and bill's dad. Bil has a long memory.

Canear that is nice you had a good time with your niece.

Hi ladies. I hope you've all enjoyed your days. Mom and I spent the day with Madison. We took her to Toys R Us for some littlest pet shop stuff. The girl sure made out good! She got 17 new ones! I have a picture of all of them that I'll post later. I also ordered the Frozen DVD for her from Amazon and I was beginning to worry it wouldn't get here on time but thankfully it came this morning. Her reaction was the funniest thing ever. She was so happy! It was a nice fun playful day. Now my parents and I are off to dinner. Catch you later!

So it seems there was another earthquake today this one was centered SE of Rowland Heights in Los Angeles and registered at a 4.5 magnitude. I'm not even really sure exactly where that is but I do think it's closer to where I am than the ones last night. In any case I didn't feel today's quake either. I will say though that the more there seems to be, and they are becoming more frequent as of late, the more unnerving it's becoming. The way my bedroom is situated makes it a really BAD place to be during a quake. It's not safe. My mom and I have already discussed some things that need to change.

Anyway, I'm probably going to be off to bed soon. Well not really bed but to my room at least. If I don't make it on before work tomorrow afternoon I wish you all a great Sunday!!

Thanks Kate. I hope your work day goes well for you. Do you have a four hour shift or a longer one this time? I've got a 5 hour from 1pm-6pm so it shouldn't be too bad for me.

YAY for Sunday the FUNday for me this weekend!!

Going out all day and it is SUNNY and going to be 57 or 60 degrees depends on which forecaster you listen to    I will take either let me tell you!!  Excited to go out in it!!  Our first day of sunshine in several days!

Teddy, cute pix!!  Love those damn adorable little pets!!  Maddie has sure grown since the last pix and her hair is so long!

I read about that quake and that there had been over 100 aftershocks since the one on Friday!!      Scary as hell!!  I think it is a good idea to give your room a good going over as to what would work best.  Do you have a good sturdy bead you can go under?  A closet to get into?  Not sure what is safe really.  I know more about what to do in a tornado which is get our butts into the basement!

Nice and sunny here today!  Other parts of Ontario aren't so lucky and got a ton of snow last night so winter isn't done with all of us yet.    

Maddy is so big!  She is growing like a weed.  Such a beautiful young lady.  

Lots of chores to do today.  Some cleaning and laundry and I need to take the car to the carwash.  It's been a while since I've done that.......
