They have created the perfect role for him, haven't they? He is sooo good as Walter.

And I hate that the Emmys have ignored his brilliant performance.

I know, because he's brilliant! His accent throws me off though.

Watched it last night. It was so good! If John Nobel doesn't get an Emmy nomination next season it will be a sin! He was something else last night!

Excited seeing more glimpses of Peter last night! So glad Olivia is seeing him too!

John Nobel is brilliant! I'm glad Olivia is also seeing Peter and it will be awesome to see how they bring him back. The men (watchers) also now realize that for some reason some are still seeing Peter.

I love those cute bald guys! Looking forward to having both Peter and Lincoln on the show together!!

Fringe tonight!!! Finally!

It feels like it has hardly been on so far this season! Started late. Some reruns. Baseball. Holidays!! Good lord!!

I read that renewal for another season is kinda iffy.....The ratings for the last episode were not good. But Friday nights is a tough night ratings wise anyway and with all the interruptions in the schedule it is hard to stay on track with it. I can't even remember what happened the last episode because it was sooooo dang long ago!!

I think the scheduling has been a major issue with the ratings. I love that it's on Friday nights when nothing else is on that I watch, but realize that's not the case for everyone. I wonder why it wasn't moved to another time slot at all. If someone wasn't a diehard fan like us, they'd have given up on it, because it seemed it was always on hiatus or something.

For me it is on when Supernatural is on. So I have to tape one of them. It works out fine for Supernatural (which has been on Fridays the last few years) because it had a very hardcore fanbase when it moved - plus good ratings for the CW are not good for FOX. So Fringe gets more viewers and FOX is disappointed and the CW is happy.

I read that a big shot with FOX (who loves Fringe) said one problem is the show costs a fortune to make/produce and the ratings are nowhere near good enough to justify the expense. They stuck with it so far because they believe in it but don't know if they can continue.....

I hope they can continue. They could possibly eliminate some of the costly sets and not hurt the show that much. If the ratings are down, you'd think they'd try a different time slot. I'd hate to lose this show.

I would hate to lose it too. Wish they would put it in a great time slot so more would check it out!

Sky - sadly I forgot to tape the show last night!! All day I told myself to remember and then I still forgot!

I saw the last 20 mins. or so. Why were the alt Olivia and alt Astrid there? I wish I had seen the interaction between them and Walter. He seemed smitten.

Did our Astrid lie about her relationship with her father to make alt Astrid feel better about hers?

What was the Asian man who could see the future doing that caused the Fringe division to go after him?

Are you getting as confused as I am about all the time stuff? Past, present, future, alt universes, time travel etc?? Please do not get as complicated for me as Lost got!! I gave up on Lost because I could not deal with all the time travel!

Whew! I'm not sure I can answer everything. The asian guy, I'm not sure where he came from but he could see the future and he was performing euthanasia on people he knew were going to suffer as they died by spraying something in their nose. The blue thing/light that was found in the safe at the end of the show has something to do with Peter?? Confusing. I don't remember why alt Olivia was there, but alt Astrid sent herself there because she wanted to meet her alternate. I do think Astrid fibbed a bit to the alt Astrid.
Walter did seem smitten with alt Astrid. It is getting confusing and that's going to lose viewers.

Indeed it will. Whenever this is a thread about Fringe on ONTD there are people saying they will lose interest soon with all the alt stuff - especially now that there is like a third alt. I love when the show is about the different creepy/weird creature stuff. Not very into all the alt stuff.

I feel the same. I liked the creepy stuff but it gets confusing with the alt stuff. I plan on watching that new show, I think on Tuesday, called The River. It looks promising.

I'm kinda overwhelmed with all I watch now. I have 7 shows to watch today before the new week starts! The River does look interesting but I am just gonna have to pass. Let me know what you think of it though.

I was just at ONTD and Friday night Fringe had it's worst ever ratings. Only 3 million viewers. I really fear it getting canceled. Such a shame. I wonder if they had stayed with just the fun creepy stuff and not gotten into the whole time travel alt-universe stuff if it's ratings could have stayed up there It could have gotten the X-Files type of success.

Yes it was!!! I love it when it is about scary weird stuff! I love that this Olivia is "remembering" Peter and that this Walter has grown to care so much about him. Wonder how they are going to work all of this out. Next week looks really good because Lincoln is on!! He is so cute!

That ending?? Could you figure out the ending??? If so - explain please
