Fringe (not the kind on Clay's ottoman!)

Yeah I guess that last episode with Olivia was it. I like him. I saw in TV Guide they really did get married! I Will probably check his new show out.

OKAY what is the deal with Fringe not coming back until April??? That sux. The ratings are already down 14% . That's nuts.

Because American Idol will need to have 2 hour episodes at first when there are so many singers early on in the competition.

I didn't know the ratings were down Probably from their last long break. Now another long break :x Some must be losing interest or patience with the show. Maybe people are finding other things to watch at that time when Fringe is on hiatus and they get hooked on that show

I will miss Mark Valley, maybe them getting married had something to do with the decision. Too much togetherness you know

How many days a week is idol on?? That is still stupid if they are trying to build and keep an audience. I like the way Lost runs. They don't start until Jan but it runs straight through with no breaks.

Well, it is usually on Tuesday night (performance night) and Weds. night (results show), but sometimes they add a night for a special - either on Monday or Thursday.

I think at the beginning of the live performances they need two hours to work all the contestants in. Then as the group gets smaller they can shorten to one hour.

Wish they had thought about AI when the network put Fringe on the schedule and put it on Monday or Friday maybe. I think they knew it would be a hit show. Oh well - I guess they have their reasons for how they schedule things.

I still don't see why this show is delayed until April. Is Idol going to be on for two hours all that time? It is just now Feb!

This week is the State of the Union Address - so neither show this Tuesday. I don't think AI will be two hours each Tuesday until April - but I do think it is possible that they didn't want to put Fringe up against Dancing With The Stars as the ratings for that show are HUGE! As big and sometimes bigger than Idol. Just me guessing....

It sux! Fringe is really good. Lost is going up against Idol in a couple of weeks and they don't care their core audience will be there. You know the networks moan and groan about ratings but if you aske me the schelduing is beyond dumb. A lot os show are on a week or two then off.

I agree! I watch a few shows on The CW that I LOVE and they screw around soooooooo much with the shows being off and on. They were off for all of Dec. and most of Jan. because of the holidays - on a few weeks and off again until March 13th. So no episodes of about 6 weeks, then about 2 or 3 episodes and off again for several weeks. It more than SUX!! :x

That is STUPID! How can they build and keep their audience? I'm not an exec and even I figured that out.

I think it's a mistake to delay Fringe. Being gone so long people (not us!) are going to forget about it and start watching something else. I worry about it not being renewed..........

Fringe is back next week!! Finally!!

I had to tape the show last night. Too busy with Adam and DWTS to watch. I will try to watch it tonight or tomorrow. I know it looked really good. The boy was adorable!!

I taped the show last night and hope to watch it this afternoon after I get Katie on the bus and the baby sleeping! :D I was too busy voting for Adam and reading AI threads to watch the show

Well, I taped it again this week and I still haven't watched last week's! Adam and Dancing and the forums have messed up my Tuesdays! I actually wish this show was on a different night!

I don't care if I miss the DWTS results.........I have to see Fringe. This one was good but next week?????????? WOW!
