| A lot of people didn't like the format of the finale which was similar to Iron Chef. | |

| Yes, it was different. Does anyone know why they changed it? | |

| I'm not sure. But apparently Tom Colicchio didn't like it too much according to his Twitter.
And in his blog, he said there was no time to confer with the other judges so there was no way to learn why a judge picked a particular course over another.

| They should have allowed more time for the judges to confer, away from the audience and chefs then. It did seem rushed and it did seem as though the judges wanted more time with their answer. However, I'm thrilled with the decision. I didn't see Tom's twitter but I did enjoy his blog. | |

| But that's what happens with an "Iron Chef" type format: judgments are made quickly.
The other thing people were complaining about is that it was obvious who won when there was only 4 minutes remaining and they were on the 4th course.

| It's just that it was not done the way it normally is done so it was surprising to see it changed. I know, I thought they don't have enough time to do another dish........ Who did you want to win? | |

| It was a great season!
Do you watch The Taste? I do, but I'm not thrilled with it. It doesn't even compare to the other shows.

| I watch it, but I'm only so-so about it. Frankly, if it weren't for Anthony Bourdain, I'd probably not watch. I do like Nigella Lawson though. | |

| Do you watch 'The Worst Cook'? I cannot believe how naive some of these people are! Tonight, one literally tried to grill a slice of cheese. | |

| A lot of people think that Alina is a plant because she seems to pick up things so quickly. | |

| Apparently, she is also an actress. Not a particularly famous one, but she does a lot of voiceover work, especially for kids cartoons.
That doesn't mean she couldn't have been a caretaker too. Only a very small percentage of people who call themselves actors actually make their living solely by acting.
However, many people thought she was a much better cook than she claimed.

| I've been watching Top Chef marathons on Saturdays! They have been on a channel called G4. They have been starting from the very beginng! It's so fun! Last week they showed Season 2 with SAM! Hopefully they will continue showing all seasons! Also on this same channel ... apparently Ilan will be having a new show called "Knife Fight" which takes place in his kitchen in his own restaurant in LA! Has anyone else seen anything about Ilan's new show? | |

| When I was in college, one of my roommates had a subscription to "Ebony" and "Jet" so I remember seeing baby pictures of Laila with her parents.
Those orange-infused collard greens Johnny made looked so good. I love greens anyway.
