Sky ~ I watched the 'second chance' cooking thing on FoodNetwork.com/star. I don't know if this is OnDemand ....
Also ... a few days ago I was watching a rerun of Hell's Kitchen on CMT (I think it was from 2007 or 2009) .... There was a contestant whose name was 'Lovely'!! Was Lovely on HK? Does anyone know? It sure looked like her! Shoot, I can,t think of what show she is on. I think maybe its the Next Food Network show? No, maybe Master chef?

| There's a contestant named Lovely in this season's "Food Network Star" but I don't know if it's the same one.
Speaking of "MasterChef", BBCAmerica has been showing reruns of "MasterChef UK: Professional" in the mornings and afternoons. It's really good and quite a bit different from the American version.

| I haven't watched Master Chef yet but did watch the finale of American Baker. I'm okay with who one but it's not the one I would have preferred to win. | |

| I feel the exact same way Sky. I'm okay with the result but I definitely would not have picked the person who won. | |

| I am watching Master Chef but may stop after last nights debacle.
They sent the best on HOME and he did not make top 10 when he had one mistake.
Every week he has been tops. I am so disgusted I may stop watching.

| I really thought either Luca or vegan girl should have gone home. She could kill someone with the raw chicken and this is the second time I think that Luca has messed up an Italian dish. Like he should know those recipes like the back of his hand. I also felt the voting on which team was really odd. Like no one in the first 25 liked the blue team yet they won? Also would any of the judges ever seriously use Walmart steaks? | |

| Kate, I hear you!! Lee had it all plate appeal, top shelf cooking knowledge. He has never messed up anything. Always heads and shoulders ahead of everyone else. He makes one mistake with a dessert no less and boom be is gone and his wants even the worst.
The other two in the B3 one had a rock hard cupcake and the other undercooked.
I was just disgusted. | |

| Lin may not be as awesome as I thought. He was brought back and lost an egg frying challenge?
But he would have so slayed the Salmon challenge.
Bri is back. | |

| I was hoping Eddie would have come back over Lyn. Lyn just seems to crack under pressure. | |

| Kate I do not think that was it. It always seemed to me that Lyn was a pure gourmet chef. He could do everything hard and was amazing in his detail and plate appeal. However the simple things like a custard/cupcake or fried egg threw him. It is like he skipped cooking 101. If the challenge was reversed with cooking the Salmon first, I would wager he would have won. FC Of the cooking shows, I only watch Master Chef and then only occasionally. I watched due to the twist of Lyn coming back. | |

| Yes he never seemed to have learned the basics. You need that grounding to win these types of shows. Plus when he was at the wedding challenge the sweating over the food didn't help.
I wanted to see more of Beme. He seems like a very instinctual cook who just needs more knowledge.

| I was and remain a big Lyn fan. No one on the show has ever presented food so beautifully.
He won every challenge until the cupcake. Then poof gone.
I truly doubt a Master Chef at a resort would ever have to make a fried egg. Any place I have worked has short order chefs for Breakfast and the Master Chef for evening service.
Beme does have good instincts. I just do not want that loud mouth arrogant woman to win. Can't stand her.

| I think the problem with Lin is that he gets nervous at the wrong time and messes up. I'm rooting for Luca to win. | |
