Is anyone watching the American Baking Competition? I love the blonde gal from the south.

Masterchef was pretty good too.

I watched it last week but I missed it this week as my mom put it on something else instead. The blonde lady from the south is something else. Who went home?

Is that one of the younger girls or the grandmother? I'm going to have to find it online.

Why are the judges keeping Danushka on the show? I would NEVER watch her if she got her own cooking show!

Nothing wrong with sliders.......we love them. This was a chef's competition for THE best burger and a slider just doesn't 'cut it'.

I think the point is to show how you can make tasty dishes using Wal*Mart steaks.

I am picky with my beef after the huge beef recall here in Canada last year. Try to source local antiiotic beef. So not something we have every week.

I don't eat red meat anymore after WA's e-coli outbreak years ago.  When I do buy meat to serve to others, it's always organic and the eggs I buy are cage free, vegetarian fed, organic.

Was that the one from Jack in The Box? So much e coli out breaks. The one last year was from XL Foods in Alberta, a huge meat producer that provides meat to much of North America. These super size meat producers just are too big.

With the new editors bar if you want to quote someone you need to change the mode. Click on the last button that looks like a piece of notebook paper with the corner folded over to change the mode you are in. Then instead of seeing a yellow box with no way to type outside the quote you will see the usual quote marks and then you can type after them.

We don't eat red meat often, but we do a couple times a month. My guys love beef and there is only so much you can do with chicken and pork.

I love ground turkey! Truthfully, I eat ground beef much more often, but ground turkey is really good too. I bought some chicken sausages the other week and they were good too.
