I've been home since 9:30 and so far there hasn't been a single damn performance I've enjoyed. I like Ed Sheeran but I was bored with it tonight. I am seriously unimpressed. Can we please get to PRINCE already?

Beiber won some type of milestone award???? Along with BEST male artist???? Good lord pathetic!
I refused to watch one minute of it and I am so glad I didn't!
If that is what he said in his speech well I am sorry but that is pretty pathetic also. He needs to TELL people to take him seriously???? Maybe there is a reason for that Justin.

I kept seeing this gif being used this morning of Taylor Swift sticking her tongue and making a face. I finally saw what it is about. See how off to the side Selena and Justin are kissing - just totally cracks me up!

Interesting. Biebs and Selena must be trying to keep a lower profile in the public eye then. She sat with Taylor and he was on the other side of the aisle with Usher and Scooter (his manager).
That award was voted on by fans.

I get that. You know how I feel when it comes to him. Can't sing at all. I see him as making it big for being so cute. He can dance but he is not MJ or Usher. He can play instruments though I never see it on the shows.
But so much second hand embarrassment for him standing there asking to be taking seriously

I think he got taken aback by some booing from the audience. Like seriously? They were booing Biebs yet stand up and cheer for Chris Brown. There is something seriously wrong there.
And Miley needs to show a bit more class (could be difficult for her though). She rolled her eyes when presenting Justin with one of his awards. She's hardly one to be mocking anybody.

Yeah, they shouldn't be booing and I personally feel Chris Brown shouldn't even be eligible for award nominations! Not that the people in the music biz care about stuff like BEATING your girlfriend to a pulp!
And I so agree that Miley is not one to be rolling her eyes. Is she considered a serous artist now?? Should be interesting to see how that new album of hers is received.

Side by side, image-wise and music-wise, I'm sorry but there is no comparison between the Biebs and Bruno Mars! I so wish that Bruno had gotten this award! His opening performance was simply magical!! I've watched it several times over and can't get enough of him and his group!! So classy! Bruno doesn't need awards to be #1 in anything in the music world! Can't wait for August to see them LIVE!!

I just read he was booed AFTER he said he should be taken seriously and said the other stuff was bullshit. Classy.
Maybe I will take him seriously when he pulls his pants up
Agree CC, no comparison talent wise between Bruno and Beibs.

I loved Prince on the Billboard Awards. The best thing of the evening and the really the only reason I watched. Wish they would stop giving Chris Brown the time of day. Abusers shouldn't be rewarded.

Yes I checked and it's gone. I think he did have a afro in his early years. I found a video but it's just some nutjob railig against Prince for wearing a huge Eye of Horus ring and having a gun control sign pop up on the screen behind him. Almost sounded like Rush Limaugh but it was the Illumanati ring that set him off. Prince may have just worn it for fashion as I believe he is a JW but he likes to keep himself a mystery. Music and being vegan are his two main things. He has the energy of men half his age.

Canuck, you are so right about his energy! He is a powerhouse in concert! Have you ever seen him LIVE?? I had an incredible experience at his concert in Raleigh a few years ago; one of the BEST concerts of my LIFE!!
You cannot find any videos of Prince online; he's got a thing about that!

There are some interviews but any performance videos are take done very fast. Never been lucky enough to snag any live tickets. He played here last year on his Canadian tour for the first time. Tickets went in nano seconds.

Love what I have hear of these guys Tenors of Rock. They are from Wales and were backing Rhydian on his Spring tour. This was on their page today. Hope they can get success in UK and North America.

They are really good, but I do prefer the solo parts more than the group sing.

Back from the Nazareth/Headpins concert. Loved it. Brought back so many good memories of the 70's and 80'. Headpin's opened with some of the their top hits. Darby Mills voice is still amazing and I wear she looks better now at 54 then when 30 years ago when Headpins were ig. Then Nazareth came out and did all their great hits and a few lesser known songs. This Flight Tonigtht, Sunshine, Hair of the Dog, Razzamataz, Bad, Bad Boy were some of the highlights and of course Love Hurts

Just found out Nazareth had to cancel the rest of their Canadian tour as lead singer Dan McCafferty collapsed on stage in Cranbrook because of breathing issues. He is listed in stable condition. So glad I was able to see them perform here. I hope he is better soon. http://www.classicrockmagazine.com/news/nazareth-dan-mccafferty-collapses-on-stage/
