What bothers me is that the post that says he was going to sign with Sony is two months old If he did sign with Sony wouldn't we have heard that for sure by now? I so want it to be true! What I wouldn't give for a full CD of songs from him - covers or not! That voice thrills no matter what he sings!

His MySpace says 'Major' for his label, maybe things aren't finalized yet?

CD's

Hello everyone, once again I want to say thank you for your continued support, it's just awesome. I've been getting a lot of questions about a CD to buy so I thought I'd let you know that I have a CD I recorded when I was 21. It's all original and I sound just a bit younger, but people seem to dig it. It's on Amazon.com if you want one. It has all the songs from this site, and more. Thanks again everyone, cheers,

ETA: Well, I just bought one! I hope! I bought one from his dad's site that said he has one left Sometimes when that happens I get an email later that they are out and I get a credit. So I will have to wait and see if I get an email that says it was sold out or if I get a shipping notice!!

I re-listened to the songs on his site and I love them all so I figure this CD will be worth the money - $23. Plus, being that it is rare and limited I will feel very privileged to have this CD in my CD collection!

Oh no...........I only saw it late last night and did not order one. I hope they get more............ I loved all his songs. I'll check Amazon in a bit.......... :(

There were two other sellers selling them - but they were a few dollars more. The one I ordered from "claims" to be his Dad. He did have 100% rating on Amazon.

ETA: You know what - don't worry about it. When I clicked on one of the buttons at Amazon before it said 'Hurry, one in stock". But if you go to his Dad's link all it says is "In stock". So I am sure you can still get one. I'm sure his dad can get more made when he wants to anyway. It doesn't come with a picture of Eli or anything. I think his Dad is just pumping them out to be honest with you. I know it states somewhere that these were made for a fundraiser and sold at his local concerts.

If by any chance you ARE told there is no more to get - well, I will just make you a copy of mine (if I get one) and send it off to you! No worries.

I got a sweet email from Eli's Dad this evening. He said he sent out the CD today and says there will be news about Eli and did I want to get on a list for updates. I wrote back that I did and that I think his son is amazing!

I must admit it is pretty cool to think I exchanged emails with Eli's Dad!

Did you read all the reviews at Amazon of Eli's CD? Man, talk about everybody loving it!! I cannot wait! I should get it pretty soon. I will let you know what I think about it after I listen to it. Yeah, like there is any chance I am not going to love it

I'm still debating..........I don't know why, I love his music, but.......$20 plus shipping, plus tax.......... Yes, I have to pay tax because Amazon is here in this state. I've never paid that much for a music CD. There has to be a new CD to come out in the future. I hate not knowing what other songs are on there from the "Monster" CD.......I do like the ones on his MySpace and those are current songs, the other ones aren't. I hate making decisions.

I know, I debated for awhile also. However, I have paid that much and more for some imports I wanted and could only get from Amazon. I love the songs on his My Space and all the reviews are really glowing. Only two people had anything even slightly negative to say. I really believe I will enjoy it very much. Besides, I really want to support Eli. He is so very deserving, and this isn't a CD that will be able to be had down the road or any other way - like at a store discount bin. I don't think many used ones will show up on Amazon either since these are probably die hard fans buying them. Besides, since they are rare and limited if they do show up used on Amazon or eBay people will be asking a lot more for them. I know because I have been through that trying to get rare CDs for my kids.

I will listen to it right away when I get it and let you know how it is!

FC........what is Eli's CD like? Are the older songs just as good as the newer ones? Did his voice sound as rich in the older ones?

Oh Sky - I didn't get it until Friday afternoon's mail (and I was out with Eric and then shopping) and I just have not listened to it yet. I got so busy with other things and I really want to just sit and listen. I will do it tomorrow I promise!

OK - I listened to the whole CD tonight. Just me in a room with Eli and I LOVE THE CD!! There is only one song I don't care very much for and that is "Soft as Sin". Great title but I didn't care for the song or the vocals all that much.

In a few of the songs his voice sounds deeper, but it is still Eli and I still love the voice. The last song on the CD is called "Ms Morgan" and it is just an awesome song! I also really love "One More Time", "First Time Flyer", "Blue Ocean", "Baby Lonely", and all the ones from his My Space! His piano playing is just outstanding on the CD. If one didn't love his voice, the piano playing would make up for it! I would really be surprised if you didn't love most of the CD! I am very happy that I took the plunge and went ahead and bought it. I feel really good about the purchase - not just because I love Eli, but I love supporting his career getting off the ground. He so should be up for a Best New Artist Grammy someday!

I really think with the right backing, he will be a huge hit. I don't mind supporting him, I'd just like to hear little bits before I buy. I wish there would have been a way for them to do that. Oh, heck....I might just order it and explain it to hubby later..........

If he will be upset I can see if hubby still has everything he needs to make a copy and I could send you a copy. Just PM me your address if he says he can do it. I myself have no idea how to do it

I really hope whoever Eli is signed with really wants to do good by him - unlike RCA with Clay

CC - do you know anything about if he is signed with a major label?

I really enjoy his CD that I got from Amazon, but I was so hoping to have some new music from him. It's been almost a year since AGT and no news This man is far too talented to not be with a major label.

I look him up on Twitter every once in a while. It doesn't look like he's got a recording deal, but he does work quite a bit. And we share the same birthday although he is a couple of years younger.

I just saw another date for him. September 25, 2009 at the Third Avenue Playhouse in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.

Speaking of AGT, Neal Boyd's first CD is coming out soon.

I just don't understand why he's not signed. Maybe he's not pursuing it?

I wonder what Neal's Cd will be like, have you heard any of the songs?

Long time no see!

I am soooooooooooo bummed that Eli isn't signed :( My goodness he is so amazing! That voice and his piano skills, his song writing. Just infuriates me that someone with his talent hasn't been signed by even an indie label. I really, really thought this guy would have success.

So happy to hear that he at least is getting work. Guess I will just have to enjoy the only CD I have.

I have no interest in Neal's CD. Not my thing. He has an amazing voice and I wish him well, but I would never listen to it.

Man, I wish Eli had gone on Idol instead. If he had made it to Top 3 he would have gotten signed.

According to an article I read, one of the songs Neal is doing on the CD is "God Bless the USA" so I imagine it's in the adult contemporary vein. He said Simon Cowell was very involved in it.

I haven't read anything about Eli actively pursuing any kind of record deal although I am surprised too that some indie label hasn't given him a shot. Does he have a Myspace or anything like that? I imagine if he does, he must put up his music on there.

Also, since you say he's a good songwriter, FC, I wonder if he should go for getting a publishing deal.

I think he is a good song writer. Mostly the songs are rather sad and deep. He seems to be a poet type.

Well, I am not that into adult contemporary in the Josh Grobin vein. Nothing against Josh - he clearly has a truly amazing voice and is a cutie, just not my thing and I assume that would be Neil's kind of CD too.
