I'm with you Canear. I would LOVE to know what the others are really thinking about this 9th place finisher who is being treated like the most popular winner of any season!! I cannot imagine the others appreciate this!

I couldn't stand Pia on Idol because she came across so conceited and stuck on herself. Now I can only imagine her head is freaking HUGE!

Stefano and some of the girls sing an Usher song and that is one thing Usher does on stage all the time. So he is doing what Usher does.

ETA: It is pretty much one of Stefano's songs and it is for sure an Usher song. It is called "Dj Got Us Falling In Love". He pretty much does what Usher does for the song. So him doing that for this is not something that is shocking or even unexpected.

ETA: Watched a lot of the videos. What I found out is there is no back up singers and that is because they are using the idols as back up singers. Stefano, Haley, Thia and Pia are used a lot as back up singers for some of the time they are on stage. Stefano, Thia and Haley are back up singing for Lauren on the Band Perry song; Stefano, Pia and Naima are background singers on Jacobs Your All I Need To Get By.

FWIW - Canear wasn't implying in any way that Mark had anything to do with this tour being "The Pia Show". She was only being sarcastic about Pia being more famous for dating Mark than her stint on Idol. Clearly she didn't impress Mark any more than she impressed Idol voters since she lasted about as long with him as she did on the show.

Should be interesting to see what happens with her single.

First I am a fan of Pia's voice. I don't know if you read my whole post but I am not at all happy with how PIA is being put as the star of the tour at all and I said that throughout the post. Next My comments about the save came from seeing an interview with Randy and seeing stuff from Nigel. Randy said that he and the other judges were so upset over Pia going out so early they went to the producers and begged them to give another save so they could get Pia back. All three judges did this to the producers. Nigel had said that they told them that they used their one save all ready and would have to live with that. Randy said a few times he was not happy they could not get Pia back. They probably were glad to keep Casey but Randy for sure was not happy they could not get PIA back so he could of been happy and sad about using the save,(Happy for Casey but upset about no saving Pia). Also I was happy for Casey when he got saved I had not one problem with it and thought it was great. When Pia went out I was more shocked then anything but since Stefano was up against her I was happy cause he wasn't the one sent home so I was pretty okay with her going. I like her voice a whole lot but I never said I liked her personality or anything like that. If I like her single I will buy it cause I like her voice and I like ballads. There is a few artist I have bought their songs even if I am not a real fan of theirs.

If you thought I was jumping on Casey then I am sorry cause I was not even doing that. My point of the whole first part of the post was the whole season people were kissing Pia's behind and even when she went out it was like she was still the main focus of it all,(Interscope getting her really quick and starting the writing process for her; The booking for her on all those shows that no other idol contestant on any season ever got and so on), and now even with the tour PIA is the star even though Scotty won the show. It like how it was with Fantasia with season 3; it was all about her and that is what it is with Pia.

I appreciate your explanation but this is your comment exactly "the judges were to stupid to have kept the save to save her." It certainly comes across as a diss that Casey (I mean you called the judges "too stupid") was saved and it also sounds like the save should have been saved for Pia. I don't see how one could take it any other way. It's something I just completely disagree with. Pia certainly was not the only one that deserved the save and I am sure they would have used it that night had it been James, Scotty, Lauren and probably even Jacob. Pia had already been getting plenty of negative comments from them per her song choices and performance style and the others I mentioned (along with Casey) were getting total love from the judges. So yeah - they were not only going to save the save just for Pia and they were within their right to use it that night for someone they wanted to stay. And trust me if it had been James or Scotty or Lauren that night that Pia was cut the judges would have been begging Nigel to let them save them.

Scotty was the clear winner with the voters from week one. He was never not number one on Dial Idol. TPTB are being fools with this tour and pushing Pia and I expect it to backfire just like their over pimping does on the show.

Yeah - if I went I would only be interested in Paul (poor guy only has one solo though) Haley and Casey. Naima might be fun too. I think Scotty is a sweetie but those songs just ain't my cuppa.

Scotty wouldn't normally be my thing but I think he's such a darling young man I just want to see him perform so I can say I saw him before he became the superstar he's going to be.

I want to see James most of all, but I'll be happy seeing all of them except Pia and sorry guys, Haley. I just have no interest in her at all.

I've been trying to find tickets for the LA show but so far I've come up empty handed. Ticketmaster keeps saying there is nothing available. So it looks like I probably won't be going. I could fork over money to buy off one of those broker sites or something but after what just happened to me earlier in the week I'm staying far away from them for a while.

There will probably be more available closer to the show. I wouldn't pay broker prices for this concert either.

I blasted my Haley EP in the car today big time!! You might change your mind when you see. She knocks those songs out of the park on that EP!! I like her "Rolling In The Deep" better than Adele's and her version of "You Oughta Know" is out of this world!!!

Yep I don't really feel like paying a broker price for this concert. No matter how small or big the difference in price is. That's just not going to happen.

We'll see FC. Sometimes seeing someone live can make a big difference. Right now though she's not my cuppa!

Well, I hope you enjoy her and I really hope you enjoy the duet with Casey! That would be my fave part of the show!!
