It seems that the first half was indeed the Pia Toscano tour, this stinks!

Tell me about it. I bought a ticket to the Toronto show. Perhaps I won't have to go until the second half. They are trying to force Pia down people's throats. Hello!! Nobody voted for her that's why she finished ninth. You can't make someone like her.

She best not show her face until the finale or there might be some tomatoes thrown on stage.

I think this was wrong is Haley instead of Pia thank goodness!!!!!!!!

What the hell are they thinking? I know many don't like various members of the Top 5 but most of them are going to end up with less stage time than Pia. I can't imagine many of them are happy campers.

If I were in the Top 5 I'd be so pissed right now. Apparently Lauren is having vocal issues so that could explain her lack of participation but c'mon, love them or hate them, Jacob and James finished 5th and 4th and deserve more stage time than someone whose greatest claim to fame was dating Mark Ballas. Mark's a great guy and all but geez.............

Pia getting all this has nothing to do with Mark. Pia getting all this happens to do with Pia was AI's IT girl and she shockingly went out and the judges were to stupid to have kept the save to save her. They were pushing Pia the whole time and even after she left the show interscope was working it for her. I totally feel the whole season has been about her. I am hoping that Scotty and Lauren won't be screwed of promotion time when their cd's are supposed to be dropped cause of her.

Yay Stefano is getting some good tour time; that makes me very happy :) So love that he is doing Grenade on tour. Please let someone catch this on video so I can see it.

ETA: you guys remember during season 8 Kris, Adam, Danny and Allison had no part of any of the group numbers in the first half of the show. The only time you saw those four was when they did their sets. So I am not surprised to not see much of the top 4 in this years tour. Hoping the top 5 get longer sets.

Here is the other half after intermission. I will totally say now I am stunned with how they have the top 5. James only gets two songs. Did the 5th placed person always only get two songs? I seriously will have to go check this out. If it is normal then I am not worried but if this is not standard practice then I seriously would be worried cause Fans are going to complain and AI will be hearing about it.

Pia should not be involved in the Montgomery Gentry song cause this is pretty much part of Scotty's set and as the winner he should get some perks and the perk would be to get some freaking WINNER time without the girl that is being thrown everywhere cause Idol wanted her to win it all. I hope people get video of Scotty and Lauren's duet. That is a favorite song of mine and I bet they will sound amazing on it. So stoked that Stefano is part of many of the group songs but I feel he and the other two,(especially freaking Pia,(I like her voice and will probably buy her single and cd, but I am frustrated at how she is the center of this tour), should not be part of one of Jacobs performances and I say that cause the song was one of Jacobs best of the season and he should get that time to sing it solo and let him have that moment to shine on it like he did during the show.

Somebody did this to show how many times the idols are all on stage and it shows Lauren is on the longest out of all of them and then it is Pia and Haley. I feel bad for Scotty cause he is on stage only 6 times when Lauren is on 11, Pia and Haley are on 10 times. This totally keeps my fight up for Pia to be taken out of the Montgomery Gentry number. She is getting more time on stage than Scotty which is not right in saying that Haley should be taken out of that number to and Lauren and Thia. Just let Scotty have that song to himself since he as the winner is getting freaking shafted. I am sad for Scotty right now.

ETA: I am surprised that Thia is out on stage 9 times singing.

Here is a video of the very last number of the evening. Lol to Stefano; He is going to be the energy man of the tour I think. He is bouncing all over during that number. I liked most of the songs except I hate Walk This Way and I hate that Stefano has to be part of that one. I wish he could of been singing Faithfully with Paul, Casey and Haley,(oh if Haley ever recorded Faithfully as a single I would buy that from her. I like how she sounded on that; totally tender with no growls. It was really nice)
James and Lauren sounded great on the Whitesnake song. James should do Whitesnake more often.

What the freaking heck? Why so much of Pia? For real who the bloody heck organized this show? It's not Pia's concert dang it!!! That seriously BLOWS!

I like that Stefano is there a lot and Thia too because I think she's really going to shine on the tour the way she wasn't able to on the show. However, I really am not liking a lot of that set list. The top 4/5 are really getting screwed.

For those who are asking. Allison sang three songs plus the duet with Adam during his set. Danny sang three songs. Matt sang three songs. Adam sang four plus the duet, which makes five. Kris sang five. Heck Anoop even got three songs!

I am glad they incorporated more group numbers for some of them, but I didn't think they were going to make pretty much the whole show a group number of some kind. UGH!! I wonder what the reviews are going to be like................

Um, excuse me - but the judges were NOT "too stupid" when they used the save. They LOVE Casey and felt he was too talented and interesting to lose at that point. THANK GOD! And he is infinitely more interesting and entertaining. Just because you prefer Pia does not make the judges "stupid" in their decision. You just happen to disagree with them. Casey stayed many weeks after he was saved and clearly had more fans than Pia - who Nigel said was NEVER near one of the ones getting the most votes. Funny he didn't tell the judges they had to save their save for the great Pia

FWIW - Canear wasn't implying in any way that Mark had anything to do with this tour being "The Pia Show". She was only being sarcastic about Pia being more famous for dating Mark than her stint on Idol. Clearly she didn't impress Mark any more than she impressed Idol voters since she lasted about as long with him as she did on the show.

Should be interesting to see what happens with her single.

Very strange James has so little time compared to the others. And Paul the least - could be because of his vocal cord issues. Just not sure what they were thinking when they came up with this! Not only screwing over those who placed higher - but screwing over the fans of those who placed higher.

Yep I feel screwed over. I bought a ticket mainly to go see James and this is what we get? The 4th place finisher sure as heck deserves more stage time than the 9th place finisher. She should get one song and maybe some backup duty. This sucks bigtime.....and I can't imagine Scotty's fans are any too happy. I'm sorry but Haley doesn't deserve the same amount of stagetime as the winner.

If Lauren sounded that bad last night and having voice problems how this is going to work out for her during the whole tour since last night it was just the first day.

I listened a bit of Pia single, nothing special, just so so, as usually she belted the sh... out the song.

I love Haley but I totally agree Canear. Scotty won and deserves the most stage time! It's a complete joke!

FY - I'm not even going to listen to Pia's single. I couldn't stand her on the show and I think this shoving her down everyones throat on this tour and having her sing her SINGLE when the winner doesn't even - well it just stinks to high heaven!

I hope Pia's single and CD flop!

How lovely for Haley and Pia getting a good review from that reporter but the more I think about it, the more miffed I am at James getting screwed. I know most of you don't like him and couldn't care less but based on his placement in the show he should be getting more stage time. He made it to 4th place and gets 2 songs? They screwed he and Paul to give their princess more stage time. I just watched both James performances and think they were excellent and added some excitement to the show. I think they could have used more of him. Anyhow, I'll put the next two months to good use trying to figure out where to hide whenever Pia is on. I will not make the mistake of buying Idol tickets ever again.

I would tell you to turn your tix in and let the powers that be know exactly why!!! But, I know you want to see James so you are kinda stuck since you have no idea when you will get another opportunity to see James again since he is not signed to a label yet.

I really am pretty disappointed with this tour arrangement. I don't think it's fair to anybody. It just doesn't feel right. It's not fair to the fans of all the others and it's not fair to the other contestants themselves either especially the top five. The winner being Scotty most of all. I understand them wanting to mix it up this year and not necessarily bring them out in order as years past. That I have no problem with. But it's all this various group number business and allowing the earlier kicked of contestants more featured time on the stage than those who lasted longer. It really just sucks.
