Things are moving fast with Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald!

The American Idol castoff, 26, has moved in with his Twilight star girlfriend, 23. The duo of a couple months are “already living together in L.A.,” an insider tells Us Weekly.

Reed is trying to help McDonald land a record deal in L.A. and introducing him to her contacts in the music industry.

Whoa..... getting someone's name tattooed on your finger is serious stuff. I hope they know what they are doing. Many Hollywood couples have ended up turning around and getting those name tats removed Hope they last! They are sure cute together!

Hope they don't regret those tattoos someday and that is not just infatuation what they are feeling for each other right now, love is so fleeting in the Hollywood scene.

On the red carpet at the 2011 MTV Movie awards, Twilight star Nikki Reed flashed some serious bling when I asked her whether she thinks she and her man Paul McDonald will wed. And she had an answer ready.

“He’s the one,” she said. “He’s the one.”

A source confirms that the two are, indeed, engaged. Congratulations, you two. And guess what else she told me…

Reed says her man, who made it to the top 8 of American Idol this season, has been writing a bunch of songs in her honor! Aww.

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama - Could the rumors be true - that Huntsville's Paul McDonald, who appeared on "American Idol" this year, and "Twilight" star Nikki Reed are engaged?

If you believe some of their friends on Facebook, the moment of truth could come tonight when Reed appears at the MTV Movie Awards. She will apparently be wearing a new piece of jewelry - an engagement ring - and McDonald will be in the audience.

The two met earlier this year when McDonald, 26, a Huntsville High graduate, attended a movie premiere of "Red Riding Hood." It was apparently love at first sight for both.

McDonald made it to the final 8 of "American Idol," but after he was voted off, remained in L.A. and hung out with Reed. He eventually came back to Huntsville and Nashville to get his things and moved in with Reed.

Recent reports say the couple got matching tattos on their fingers with each other's names in permanent ink. According to the report by Hollywood Life, the couple got matching tattoos May 13 with each other’s names during a May 13 trip to Studio 21 Tattoo in Las Vegas.

The couple is also reportedly looking at buy a new home.

McDonald will be touring with the "American Idol" crew this summer and is also working on a new album and some tracks for a new movie. Reed, of course, will again appear in the next "Twilight" movie, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part One" this year on Nov. 18 and "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part Two" in November of 2012.

Troy asked me to marry him the first week after we met. We met in Oct. and married in Nov. We had been together for 35 years. One of his band mates said it wouldn't last 6 weeks.

Well, in this case I think it is more that actresses/musicians can't make it work. I'd love for it to all work out for them - but statistically with their chosen careers it's not looking that good.

Well, Troy was a musician for 5 years after I met him. He quit to give Terry a home. He gave up music, and he always regretted it. I tried to get him to play in a club at night sometimes, but he didn't want to.

Louis and I met in August, by October we were engaged and by March we were married. We are married 37 years,

I just found out that Nikki Reed is the actress who wrote the movie 13 when she was a teenager!! I remember that movie and her getting a ton of praise! Critics were so impressed by her screenplay. That's pretty cool!!
