One can argue they wouldn't have what they have without the show and while I can see that being true to a certain extent I believe fully that these kids earn what they do because of how hard they're out there working. They're putting in the time, the energy, the dedication and so on. It's them and no one else. They make it happen for themselves. Not Idol. I don't begrudge a single one of them who expresses relief or joy that their contracts or obligations to the show are done with because as soon as it is over for them Idol in turn is over them too.

Love this post cause this is my feelings exactly but I suck at writing and write out too long post,(I apologize for that folks). For many of the idols when their contract is done then idol does what I said and throws them away like they were trash. They discard them and don't ever think twice about it. The only ones they give any respect to are their favorites. The kids that really care and really want a career after the show work their asses off to get anything from this business and most do it alone with no help from the show.

As I said above in one of my post. Paul and James really did not say anything bad. They did not diss idol in the least. Simon Cowell has said worse of the show while he was still freaking on it. The guys are just happy to be able to start their careers. One last thing I am not a fan of either guys so I am just defending them cause as I said they didn't say anything wrong.

If it wasn't for Idol, they wouldn't be where they are, they would not have their names known, gotten the opportunites, nor made the money they did while with Idol......plain and simple. If any of these people weren't on Idol, we'd never have heard of them.

According to E News, Season 10 Idol alum, Paul McDonald and Twilight star, Nikki Reed are getting married Sunday in a private ceremony in Malibu.

The rehearsal dinner is set for tonight in Los Angeles.

“He’s going to play with his band at the reception,” a source told E News. “He’s got some surprises for Nikki.”

Stefano Langone is planning to perform a song he wrote at the wedding, and Spy Kids star Alexa Vega will serve as maid of honor.

“[the wedding] will be small,” Nikki told E News just last week.

Congrats to the couple. I am only hoping one video emerges from this private wedding and that is one of Stefano singing his song he wrote. By the way He played this song for Nikki one night when he was with her and Paul and she told Stefano he had to sing that at their wedding. I think she really loved his song I love you
