I didn't watch. I will look for a You Tube. We were watching Diners, Drive-ins and Dive! Our very fave Food Channel show!! LOVE GUY!!! We watch it every Friday night!

I love Guy and the show!!! I watch it all the time as it repeats throughout the week.

I saw Crystal, she did look good and I love 'Farmer's Daughter'.

To be fair Crystal's cd just came out Tuesday and Lee's has been out for almost a month now.

Angel is right. Crystal's has only been out a couple of days.

HDD is predicting a first week total of about 45,000.

I understand that. But Lee has never been high. He was not higher than the nineties, I think, even when he first came out with his CD.

I'm not sure Crystal's is any better than Lee's. Both have really great voices, but I think the songs on the CD's fall short of any great hits. I do like Farmer's Daughter though, but I think some of the live recordings I've heard are better than on the CD. I like 'Mason' too, but that's about it.

I just bought Crystal's CD. Hope I like it.

I like the songs on Crystals cd a lot more than the ones on Lee's. On lee's I loved two of them and bought them. On Crystals I have really liked all the clips,(have not got the cd yet), and liked the New single a lot. Farmers Daughter is a good song; very moving.

ETA: In saying that I honestly do not see Crystal having huge sales for the cd. I really think that Season 9 just did not get the attention it needed so a lot of people really don't know of Lee and Crystal. Also this economy is not getting any better for the most part and people are really really thinking before they buy stuff like cd's and Dvd's. They are being more picky.

There is zip, zero, nada buzz for anybody from season 9. I swear as soon as that finale was over so was the media done with it.

Nice video. Kinda sad. She looks very pretty. She has a gorgeous voice. This song is not something I could play often because it's sad and not something I could pop in the car and enjoy while driving.

I think she would do very well in country music - even though I don't dig country.

I would have liked a bluesy Joplin like CD. Maybe one will be in her future.

FC, that's what I had hoped for from Crystal, was a bluesy/Joplin kind of music, because her voice is perfect for it. I don't like country and most of the songs on her CD have a strong country edge.

Yeah, her Bobby McGee performance was my fave on Idol! So would love a CD like that from her.

I think since the video and song are about her troubled relationship with her mom and the physical abuse she took as a child - it does a good job making you feel the pain that Crystal obviously still feels deeply. I like that it ended showing her loving her own son.

I just watched the video and it had me in tears. Not something I would watch a lot but I thought it was good.

I just watched the video too..........and it had me in tears. Listening to the words and hearing the emotion is heartbreaking.

I hope that Crystal will find success. I have a feeling that she has no desire to be a SuperStar, but to just earn a decent living, doing what she loves to do and give her son a better life then she had.

Jaycee, you probably are right. She seems the type that won't take anything from anyone and she'll do it her way. If she doesn't want stardom but just success, then good for her and I hope she gets what she wants. I'd love to hear more from her, but with less of a country sound and with the emotion of Farmer's Daughter.
