This was mildly amusing........the video they talk about (not Adam) is at the end of the article, weird video and not revealing much either, so no worries, but Ricky is nude.

Great article by Halfie at Planet Fierce
Adam Lambert’s performance of Whataya Want From Me this week on American Idol was one of the most significant moments in his nascent career and a watershed for the show itself.
Much as we may tease about how Adam broke Idol in Season 8, the truth is that his guest appearance a few days ago was truly the moment where he irreversibly pulled back the curtain and revealed the secret that the producers have been hiding for many years. Never before have The Powers That Be cast a singer of Adam’s caliber on the show. It’s not that people who can sing with technical brilliance don’t audition; thousands do. But to create a show like American Idol, it’s imperative that they convince the viewing audience that they have selected the twelve contestants who are the most amazing singers who appeared during the auditions.
We may never know exactly why they let a singer like Adam compete last year but it was probably an experiment in how “differentness” would hold up. It created a certain tension between those who preferred the expected on the show versus those who wanted someone who would push the boundaries, someone who would go so far as to make Randy Travis make a stank face because he took a country classic and dared to make it something interesting, something different.
As much negativity has been heaped on Season 9, the truth is it’s not that much different from other Idol finalist groups, at least among the better performers. There are good singers, good performers and one or two people who may be very, very good at what they do. But when Adam came back to Idol and performed WWFM, we were forced to evaluate Season 9 in context and it was not kind. What we saw on Wednesday night was an immaculate vocal married with the kind of visual presentation that never graces the idol stage.
Adam Lambert descended on the Idol Dome and his green tornado ripped apart the beams, blew out the windows and showered us with a performance that is like nothing that has ever come before or – and I’ll say it confidently now – will ever come again. Think about it. There have been some great guest performances on Idol. From returning performers like Kelly or Fantasia to guests like Gaga and the Black Eyed Peas. But not one has come close to delivering BOTH the vocals and the visuals that Adam did last week.
But, as much as I think WWFM irrevocably broke the Idol mold, it was even more seminal for Adam’s career. What we saw on Wednesday was a performer who is imminently comfortable on the Idol stage return to deliver a breakout performance. But contrast this Adam with the one who performed on the AMAs a mere five months ago:
That Adam was uncomfortable and fueled by adrenaline watching his peers. This Adam was completely in control. That Adam had a good vision for his performance but went further than he planned and allowed the visuals to overwhelm his vocals. This Adam hit the absolute pitch-perfect blend of vocal and visual.
I fervently believe that this moment will be one that Adam looks back on in his career as one of the most significant. He has proven to himself that he can do it. By taking the stage in a comfortable environment and pushing the boundaries, but finding just the right balance, Adam must feel even more confident that his name belongs among the stars of current pop music.
Though he is still at the beginning of his recording career, Adam belongs. If he doubted it in November, he must know it now. I, personally, remain fully convinced that the AMAs were good for Adam in the long run. The controversy that was generated allowed him to enter the national consciousness. Being part of the conversation, even in difficult times, is vastly preferable to blending into the scenery.
But no matter whether you loved the AMAs or hated it, one thing is crystal clear now.
When Adam gets the chance to perform with his peers again at the 2010 awards shows this fall and winter, he will know – without a doubt – that he can do it. He will have a vision. He will have confidence that his vision will work. And he will execute it impeccably. And when he’s done, instead of flipping off the audience, I’ll bet that Adam reflects back on a performance bathed in green lasers and remembers that was the moment that he knew he could do it. That was the moment that he knew he belonged.
Great job, Adam, and thanks for sharing your journey with us.

Adam's trip to the UK -- According to the BBC as of 12:15 pm local/7:15 am Eastern, all domestic and international flights for Monday have been cancelled .
The Icelandic Meteorological Office says that the light winds prevailing in Europe and large amounts of unmelted glacial ice above the volcano means the situation is unlikely to change over the next few days.

Is that write-up from just a fan/poster or a writer?

It is especially considering it is affecting freight travel as well.
Hopefully he can get there next week for some of the appearances but better safe than sorry. They'll work something out but in the meantime he can work on plans for the tour (and like how he's going to deal with the dancers ). Maybe he can take them shopping at least.......

I took it to be a fan/poster at the site Planet Fierce? I'm not that familiar with the site.

Thanks, Sky!! Awesome video!! I just loved the way he had his hair styled and how it "bounced" during the performance! Gorgeous!! And when he ran his hand over his hair at 2:53, I nearly fell over - SO SEXY!! I agree that the stage was too small for all those dancers! They were right on top of him (HA! Not a bad thing, really! )
Now, can anyone rip this video and post a download link here?!! It's a definite "keeper!" (especially the extra "swishy" parts - though I prefer his performances "straight forward (??!!)", I'm beginning to warm up to some of his campy moves! It's part of what makes Adam ADAM!!
