I know how you feel about company. Those big stains on our driveway??? My BIL!!! He has this honking diesel truck for his work that he comes here with every Sunday to visit and parks it in our driveway!! And depending on which of my sons is out - he parks in different spots of the driveway!! And it drips all this crap!! Pisses me off!!!! Will my husband tell him to park on the street?? Of course not

He is working at the same Italian restaurant as Eric!!!

One of the other guys quit and the boss has gotten to know Justin well since he hangs out there sometimes and visits Eric there so he offered the job to Justin!

My boys are pretty tight! They are happy to be working together.

Justin only has Weds., Thurs. and Friday. Eric has more days and nights. But they will be working together on Thursday and Friday.

Just reminded me of when my old fridge was playing up several years ago...I used to "fix" it with a hammer.Eventually I went shopping for a new one...& came home with this

Playstation seems like a likely purchase instead of a refrigerator!

Ha! There are a couple of appliances of mine I wish would break beyond repair so that I could replace them...............like the dishwasher and frig. I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon though.

Well, since we have the new washer I kinda wish the old dryer would go so I could get the matching mate

Dishwasher - I'm still pretty happy with it. I got what I wanted when I got that one.

But I will make voodoo dolls for your fridge and dishwasher and stick pins in them for you!

I guess y'all have seen on the news all the flooding going on in Atlanta. It is terrible. It has been raining here since Thu and there is no end in sight! I am scared . Schools and everything else are closed.

Are you close to Atlanta? Are you in danger?

My brother is in Atl I am in Northern GA we are under a flood warning.I am not kidding I have never seen this much rain in my life. Water is standing everywhere. It has not stopped since Thu! Colin's classes are called off too. The professors can't get in.

They are warning my area (I, however live on higher ground) that there is a big chance of MAJOR flooding this fall and winter because we have a dam in need of repairs.........

So sorry to hear that Aerwin :( Hopefully it will not get too bad. Maybe just a cold. Did you get a flu shot?

Eric had a nasty sinus infection two weeks ago and had to go to the doc. Now Justin has a horrible cold. No fever but lots of coughing and nose blowing etc. Of course it is cold and windy and rainy and they are both working today. Eric during the day and Justin all evening. So that isn't going to help

Sky - somehow I missed your post up there! I hope the dam holds. Good thing you are on higher ground. There is nothing worse than dealing with flooding issues. We've been through it enough times with our basement. At least we are lucky and don't have the kind of flooding that gets into the main level of our home. I can't even imagine how tough that is to deal with!

Fc are you ging to make your boys get the H1N1 vaccine? I think Colin should and I bet they offer it at school. My DR said you only need to worry about it if you were born after 1970. So I guess that counts me out. :D

Well, this Friday the 16th I am going to my doc for a blood work-up and was going to ask him what he thinks.

We just had a 14 year old girl die on Friday morning in a town about 30 mins. away. She had a fever and some cold symptoms for a couple of days and on Thursday was feeling better and talking to her friends and even got some Kentucky Fried Chicken. She was dead on Friday morning from the H1N1 virus :(

They are checking to see if she had any underlying conditions because so far 70% of the people who have died from H1N1 have other issues.

So if our doc thinks the boys should get it - I will get them scheduled.

My mom and I have pretty much decided not to get it. Neither is my MIL.
