| I understand the USA are remaking...or have remade(?) a UK comedy drama called "Shameless" ...Oh I love the UK version & wonder if you'll get the chance to watch that over there!!
One of my favourite characters was Marty...a pyromaniac with tourettes...hehehe...think that says it all!

| Well we now have another one of those celeb shows starting tomorrow - Dancing on Ice This is the 5th series & yep involves celebs dancing with professional ice dancers all under the tuition of the great Torvill & Dean (Ok we don't have THAT many Brit sports superstars - but hey - Bolero was genius!!)I get completely hooked on this prog from the start If it's available to watch on youtube - it's well worth it! Not sure if Dr Who is available in the US but - WOW - the changeover to the new Dr for us at Xmas was amazing!! We also have celeb Big Brother on here at the moment - last one ever (THANK GOD!!!) but what an unusual banch of celebs LMAO!! Ivana Trump has just entered the house....the housemates already there include Heidi Fleiss,Stephen Baldwin,Sisqo, Vinnie Jones & Stephanie Beacham.I'm thinking I'll be watching it if nothing better is on though! | |

| We had Skating With The Stars here once or twice. Never watched. Never watch any Big Brother either. I cannot believe Ivana is on that show!!! Sisqo - yuck! Always loved Stephanie Beacham though. Lovely lady! Aw, Torvill & Dean - now they were really something! | |

| Christopher Dean is married to Jill Trenary who was Ladies' World Champion in 1989. I think she's pretty much retired now.
I hear there's another British reality competition show called "Pop star to Opera Star" which features pop singers trying to become opera singers. Jimmy Osmond is one of the contestants.

| I really enjoyed the very fist Big Bro here (non celeb) as the people were just your normal type - with a couple of exceptions! Gradually it just got worse & worse, so I stopped watching - I've only been watching the first week of this last one if nothing else has been on - can't get addicted to it at all now, as I did back in about 2000! You are right Badger - another one I'm looking forward to "Pop star to Opera Star" which starts here next friday. The only thing I'm concerned about are the presenters, after all they do need to keep you entertained too! Alan Titchmarsh - who did a gardening prog.....err wrote a couple of books...& has one of the most boring afternoon chatshows (imo) & Myleene Klass who is very sweet, ummm but not the wittiest presenter going. | |

| On the Pop Star to Opera Star subject..it really was entertaining :D Last friday was the first one & Alex James was booted out (Alex James was in the group "Blur" Brit Pop band) He was hysterical- but still trying his best! I'll give them their due...they are all trying, not using it just for publicity...or just f*cking about for the votes. Judges are dodgy though - you could see the 4 of them discussing it so it would go to the public vote GRRRRR Anyway...if any of it is available over there on You Tube....worth a peek | |

| I love that video. His video and Shayne Ward's video have been my faves. I just can't get into Leona Lewis so didn't like her winning song video. Shannon | |

| No, I was reading at ONTD last week and somebody posted the link to the song. It was cute and catchy. If I can find it I will bring it. | |

| I haven't heard about any of the X Factor competitors releasing anything...apart from Joe & the single he did at the end of the show...oh yeah...& those lil shits are releasing Under Pressure. I'm never sure what the requirements of the show are for the ppl who enter - if Simon gets first "dibs"...& also I assume they are required to fulfil the commitments of the "X factor live tour. | |
