Drifty I read your post on the last page about not knowing of any of the X factor people releasing anything. Well you do know Leona Lewis she is a winner on X Factor and she has two cd's out and the year before Leona won Shayne Ward was the winner and he has two cd's out. I was able to get his first cd off of Ebay; it is really good. From his second cd I love a few of the songs and "Breathless" is my favorite. In the what music are you listening to thread I have posted video's from him you just have to find them cause that thread goes really fast.

Angel, she meant from this past season. I don't think she was referring to anyone for other seasons at all. From what I remember Drifty is actually a big fan of Leona's.

Yes...I am a big fan of Leona...& did only mean the season that has just finished.Sorry to say...I'm not at all a fan of Shayne. I must look for Diana's (from the previous year) single that FC mentioned though - last I heard of her was she was appearing in the stage version of "Little Voice"
Hehehe you think I'm a bad Drifty Teddy? You're lucky I ain't sending The Wombles over too!
Hmmmm FC - it's you lot over there that made Subo a star think you all should be stuck with her!

We have had a charity show done again this year called "Lets Dance for sports/comic relief" which is hysterical! "Stars" in the UK do a well known dance - & I'm so impressed this year as once again the people taking part really do make an effort rather than just arsing about.
Have to say I had posted on Facebook the original vid of the last one some weeks ago ...joking that My Mum, Sis & myself were practising that for Mum's 81st birthday.Mum watched the "Lets Dance" show on Saturday...& I told her that I posted the original a while ago...& my comments! She was in hysterics for a while.....then decided that we should!!!!!! (& she was serious!!)
Anyway - watch this space for the week 2 show! :D

Just watching "Friday Night with Jonathon Ross" - a chat show hosted by one of the most annoying people in the UK (Jonathon...obviously) Anyway tonights show has the following guests which may appeal to a few here :D
Jonathan Ross presents music and chat. He is joined by the queen of this year's Brit Awards, triple winner Lady Gaga, who chats and performs two songs live in the studio; True Blood star Stephen Moyer; and musical actor Michael Ball.
Might be worth searching You tube in the next few days if they appeal to you !

WOW!!!...I mean.....WOW!!!!!!
We still have our "Dancing on Ice" going on here. There is a brit actress who appeared in one of the soaps here (Emmerdale), who has been good from the start.I found her a tad annoying, she does do the "stage school" smile a bit too often, but her performance tonight just blew me (& the judges!!) away.Bear in mind also...she hadn't skated before the programme..again I have to say WOW!!

I don't know if any of you guys saw the Any Dream Will Do show that was on BBC,(in 2007) and BBC America,(showed here in 2008 I believe). It was a realtity show to find the next Joseph for Andrews Newest Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat reincarnation. Well Lee Mead won it and he now has a cd out. Some of the other contestants went on to do stuff to and one of the guys who was one of my faves is Ben Ellis. He went on to do Hairspray with Michael Ball on the Westend,(meaning London). Well since Hairspray ended he has been touring with Michael Ball on his tour. Michael also has the guy who played seaweed in Hairspray on the tour. Anyway here is Ben and Adrian singing one of Michael's own songs,(I bet Michael loved hearing someone else sing a song he wrote; probably a dream come true), and then they go into singing what is pretty much the best song from the Musical Starlight express. The song is "ONLY YOU" and is sung with Michael. I love hearing Michael sing this song; it gives me goose bumps.
ETA: on the show that BEN did he and another contestant Keith sang "I Am The Starlight/ONLY YOU" as their duet and it was amazing. Ben and Keith both killed it,(what is amazing is both guys are around the same age and for the song Ben is supposed to be the dad and Keith the child I think both pulled off their parts brilliantly especially Keith looking so innocent with that shy smile.. Adrian also has sung "Only You" when he actually starred as rusty in Starlight Express so it is a special song all the way around. Michael Ball, Ben James Ellis and Adrian Hansel; "Just When" and "I am The Starlight/Only You"

We're missing Drifty!! Olly was good, but this song is just like any other song out there. I'm still waiting for Jamie 'Afro' Archer to do something. I'll have to do another check on him! "The Lil Shits", I don't even want to hear about!
