THIS IS US - BEST FAMILY DRAMA EVER

This week’s episode was fantastic. I love this family so much. I love how they still find ways to link the past with the future around a similar situation. Everyone is so wonderful!!

Oh I so agree!!  It is a fabulous show!!  I love the family - at all ages!!  Casting department is amazing!!  And it is brilliant the way they link the past and present!!

Best damn family drama ever!!  (though Parenthood is a close second - another fabulous show and family)

So glad I can share my thoughts here with you!!    Sad for those who have not watched and fallen in love with this show like millions have...

Another wonderful episode!! 

The ending!!  Cannot wait to see who Kevin is engaged too and for his baby to arrive!

Yes, that was scary indeed!  I wonder who and why or is it random?

It was such a good episode.  The dementia storyline hits so close to home obviously.

No idea about who Kevin has a baby with.  Could be someone we have not met yet.  Could be Sophie. 

The only part of the episode I didn't care for was the John Legend bit.  Like come on! So unrealistic!  Like John Legend was just sitting around with nothing to do and Kevin gets him and the arena in what - an hour?  Stupid.  Happening down the line after dating awhile with time to set things up would have been better.

I do not like that story line with Sophia Bush anyway so I sure hope she is not the baby mama!

Loved all the scenes with Rebecca and Jack!  Loved that we found out her mom was so supportive of Jack! 

I also am not happy with the direction they are taking Toby.  I love that couple like crazy and please do not mess with them 

The last 4 episodes have been fantastic!

The 3 weeks where the episode was dedicated to each twin and then last night was This Is Us at it's very best!!

The recording from Jack in the time capsule!  The sketch of the house!  Mama Bear Rebecca throwing Mark out of the house!

The previews for next week with Kevin older with gray hair and looking even more gorgeous than young Kevin!!!

And how adorable is baby Jack!  What a darling baby they got for the role!

I’ve loved the last four episodes as well. They’ve been fantastic!

I did not realize the girl with Kevin was Kate’s newer best friend. I thought it was Sophie again.

I loved last nights episode. I loved that Jack made the time capsule and left that recorded tape for them to find. They’re going to hold on to that dearly. I loved the drawing. I loved that Kevin had the house built and framed the drawing by the door.

This is such an incredible family.

Indeed!!  This has been an awesome season!!!

Though I hate that they are making it seems that Toby and Kate break-up because I have so loved them as a couple.  But I think the writing is on the wall.....  and we know from the flash forward that Toby wakes up alone on that day to go see Rebecca.  At least they clearly want us to believe they are not together.

Kevin should not have slept with Kate's friend but let's face it - he sleeps with everybody

Last night's episode was sooo good!!

Loved the whole Joni Mitchell storyline.  Took me back to my youth   

Randall's scenes with the therapist were so well acted.  

I loved the ending where you see little Jack growing up in the music room in the garage.  

Always such a wonderful show!

What a wonderful episode last night!!!!!  And boy is next week going to be even better!!!  Probably beautiful and sad at the same time......

I want Mandy to get an Emmy so badly. She’s been so extraordinary. Milo deserves it too. Next week is going to make me cry. It was such an amazing show last night. It always is!

I wish the show would win the Emmy and Mandy and Milo.  But they seem to only want to reward cable shows and Netflix!

Oh next week will be a tearjerker for sure.  But it's going to be wonderful none the less!

I cannot believe the season finale is next week.....  I remember waiting so long for the season to start and being so excited it was back and now it's over already.....   Dang this Prime Time season has gone so fast!

I KNOW!!!  Me too!!  Seems like forever since the last episode!!!!!  The promos look so good!!  Well, like this show is always soooo good!!

Well, I enjoyed the two episodes the other night.  However it was too Randall centric for me. Just like it was very Randal centric season 4.

I want more Kate and Toby.  More Kevin.  More old days with Jack.

I have had enough of certain "topics" at this point also.

Hoping next week is more about others and less about Randall.

It won't be back until January 5th??!!

IT'S FINALLY BACK TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent episode last night!!

I am not trying to be mean or anything as I love Chrissy, but did she gain more weight?  Goodness when she was walking down the street she look enormous....  So so dangerously overweight.  Very scared for her health.

I am so looking forward to next week and finding out all about Randall's birth mother.

I got to watch This Is Us a couple nights ago.

I’m looking forward to learning about Randall’s birth mother and hear her story. I hope it helps give him the answers and healing he so desperately needs. Not only to know more about his background and where he comes from but to see how he takes the information and applying it to who he wants to be. Mostly I just hope it brings him peace.

I was so proud of Kate confronting her past with Marc and how detrimental that relationship was to her in her life. I was so sad she ended up pregnant and choice to have an abortion. She did it all on her own or at least it seems that way. To go through all of that have her father dying. That’s a lot.

Kevin is at another crossroads like the other two are in some way or another. I’m sure he will figure it out and I say that just based off what little we know from the future. I do think Madison was a little hard on him but I understand why and her feelings about it. The two of them were thrust into this based off one night. They’re trying to each get a handle on it separately and together at the same time. It’s not easy.

FC, I do think Chrissy might have gained more weight. It is pretty scary and sad.

I am very worried for Chrissy....  It is sad as she is a pretty and very talented woman.  She needs help because that kind of weight is going to kill her.  I cannot imagine she is not diabetic at this point.  The strain on the heart etc.  How difficult it must be to move around normally etc.  I wish she would get some help or she will end up in an early grave

What a wonderful episode!!  Not only questions answered and hopefully pain lifted for Randall for a long time - but just really well acted and well done.   I wish the story had a happier ending.....  Poor Laurel. 

Next week looks to be really good also!!  Tense and sad....  We know Kevin will be survive but what a shame he will not be able to see his twins born.  I wonder if he is going to have career ending injuries or something?  We shall see!

I completely agree. Tuesday’s episode was outstanding. Well acted and well told. The storytelling was incredible. I do think the pain has been lifted and washed away for Randall. There’s still things to make up for and forgiveness to be given. I feel that will come. It was such an emotionally raw episode. I was in tears many times.

Next week looks scary.

Yes it does!  But he is popular and I cannot see them ever killing him off the show.  So fingers crossed he will be ok
