| I like Johnny, too. I'm surprised they have him as a commentator since he is so polarizing, but I have always liked him. He makes Adam look conservative.
I agree with you FC about all the jumps. It's like everything in between the jumps is just leading up to another jump. Maybe that's why I prefer ice dancing now to the other skating events. It's more about the artistry of skating. It's more interesting.

| I am very surprised that Johnny is being used for commentary! I know the skating world was not thrilled with him last Olympics! But I just get a kick out of him. | |

| I truly dislike that artistry is being removed from Skating. I like jumps but in-between there should be required elements, edges, movement, something.
To bad Tuka was to sick to play today.
Good luck to both the USA and Canadian Hockey team today.

| Scoreless bit good tries by Rick Nash and Drew Doughty! I don't mind if he sores on his LA team mate. | |

Me either Kate! Great period of good old North American hockey! This is much better than that European style.

| That's so great Kate! It's nice when the lesser stars get to shine!
Good thing you're well practiced at getting up at 4:00 am since you'll have to do that on Sunday. Not many things get me up at 7:00 am on a weekend but I'll be doing it for this!

| Well, at least there will be a lot of Blackhawks in the game on Sunday! There are several on team Sweden. USA just had my sweetie Patrick Kane, whom I am very bummed for.... I made dark double chocolate cookies to cheer my guys up - surprisingly they don't seem to care at all I am far more disappointed than they are. I honestly think they just care about the Blackhawks and not the USA Any way we can get Patrick Kane on team Canada??? Well, I won't be watching the game Sunday, but good luck to both teams. I'm gonna go eat some more cookies...... | |

| Those sound good FC! Sure, we'll adopt Patrick.... It really was a great game and not just because we won. The teams were very even in talent and ability. It was nice in the handshakes after the game when Toews gave PK a long hand on the shoulder and said a few words to him. They have a lot of respect for each other. | |

| Congratulations Canada!! A well deserved win. Except for the first 10 minutes IMO Canada controlled the game. It was nice seeing Bergeron being such a big part of Canada's win.
I felt it really wasn't a great game. Without Jonathan Quick it easily could have been 5-0. USA had only 3 real decent threats. They were just beaten off the puck and Canada controlled the puck 60% of the game.
Well now I will have two Bruins in the Gold Medal hunt. Erickson for Sweden and Bergeron for Canada.
