I was watching a video of behind the scenes at Four Kings from Russia. That is a Plushenko ice show. This was 2012 and it was Plush, Brian Joubert (who is so darn sweet), Stephane Lamiel and Johnny Weir. Johnny Weir was speaking in Russian and it took me a few minutes get why he would. I forgot his partner is Russian. Fabulous skating from everyone. It isn't just guys there is a whole ice show that plays several cities in Russia. I saw the translated version so could understand what was going on. Johnny looked amazing and not so many odd outfits like the ones he wore for commenting at Sochi lol. I think Mao Asuda has been there too and she had Plushenko back to skate in Japan. USA and Canada is definitely behind in our ice shows. Asia and Europe seem to have more interesting line ups.

Several Olympic medalists were honoured at the Leaf game tonight. One of them was Alex Bilodeau who brought along his brother Frederic. Both of them are such inspirations.

Our local hockey team came back to win the last round in a double OT game 7. Now on to the next round. Talk about great hockey but nail biting.

I HATE OT. Just hate it. One bad bounce can cost a team.

Watching World Junior's on CBC. Wow this young Russian boy will be one to watch for in the coming years. Adian Pitkeev. A cross between Plushenko and Yaguidin. He has to take a bus four hours each way to his skating rink. He is using Plushenko's music Storm written by Edvin Marton
Nathan Chen just skated. Kurt Browning thinks he injured himself as he heard he was rehersing too many jumps while his coach was at the Olympics.
Just waiting for Nam to skate.

Reading a lacrosse game on twitter is nail biting. Shamrocks ahead by 1 goal. Our scrappy defense guy got his first goal of the season. Tough guy on the court but a sweetie off of it. He is a framer for the construction company that built this development. The owner is the President of the Shamrocks and he likes to give team members work if he can as the pay is not great for lacrosse.
