| I was so PISSED that Paulina let the crowd sway her and she put Tim Olstead back, he is not marketable AT ALL. And let the adorable marketable and better voiced Timmy go.
Baby Usher should now win that category hands down.
But I think that Country Trio now has the show in a lock. OMG they were GREAT and I hate country.

| Missed most of the groups. Will have to find a You Tube or something. I am with you on Tim, Hathor. Kid will fail hard after the show. Baby Usher - would that me Levi? If so then I agree. None of the guys blew me away though. Levi is good, but I don't even get into the real Usher let alone a baby Usher Not my type of music. | |

ITA .... even Al Calderone is way more marketable. I was sorry to see him go as well. I do believe Simon has another winner in the country trio. Three good looking guys who can get people to like country when they usually don't are going to do very well. They have charm and charisma oozing out of them.

| So how many groups performed last night? Did he let any go or put them all in the chairs only to have some leave? I truly hate the chair thing. Watching those boys celebrate sitting down only to cry when they had to get up for someone else was cruel! And think of how Tim felt leaving and then having to boot Al from his chair!! Awful. probably wont watch tonight and will watch The Vampire Diaries instead. | |

| There are 4 or 5 more groups tonight, I believe.
All the judges, except Paulina, filled the chairs before sending anyone home. It is rather cruel. I felt for Timmy but moreso for Al who was the first one chosen then given the boot right at the end.
I think it's going to be between the groups and the over 25's.
Interesting how Adam knows James Kenney. I wonder why he tweeted about him out of the blue like that considering he was chosen last week.

| FC, My fav was the adorable charming Timmy, I also liked Stone and Levi. If I was Paulina they would have been my core. All had the ability to succeed. They have Talent, The Look and Charisma. The remaining 2 ugh IDk and IDC.
The fact that Paulina is so clueless she let 2 of those 3 go is ridiculous.
XFactor may have its first massively successful winners in that Country Boy Group.

| He was busy last week and maybe didn't see the show or know until later on.
Yeah, I felt really bad for Al and stopped watching after that. I saw the close-up of Al praying and whispering "please, please, please". So freaking cruel. I do not like this show. I do respect Paulina for at least NOT putting EVERYBODY to the chairs.
And if a country act is going to win again I am even less interested in the show. Doesn't matter to me how good they are because I do not buy country music so once again somebody will win who I won't be interested in after the show. Melanie (diva) Tate (country stinkage) and a country group. I know we have no idea if they will win, but 3 super good looking, nice and talented country guys are for sure going to be hard to beat in a singing competition since country does EXTREMELY well in all singing competitions. Just ask 3 times in a row winning coach of The Voice, Blake Shelton.

| OH, and I am not putting down the country group or saying they won't deserve the win (if they get it) just that I will not be interested in them. But good luck to them after the show. | |

| Other than maybe Simon, I don't believe for a minute that these judges have the final decision on who they put through so I don't think it's all Paulina's fault. They no doubt have input but if there is someone the producers really want through, they will make sure it happens.
I could see visions of $$$$ signs flying around in Simon's head last night when he saw those 3 country boys performing.

| Well, well ......... from MJ's - Quote :
- After last night’s dubious boys results in the X Factor 4 chair challenge, Simon Cowell took to twitter to make known that he did not agree with judge Paulina Rubio’s choices. He’s working on putting together a fan-determined wild card pick. Tonight, Simon’s groups will be revealed to complete the Top 16
I’m not convinced that last night’s boys results mattered. It’s clear that a boy is not meant to win X Factor. The singers ranged from mediocre to awful. When the judges praised a terribly off-key performance from Josh Levi, I figured the fix was in. Or I had entered an alternate universe. Another moment that seemed scripted was Paula’s lame switcheroo. Eliminating the charisma-free Tim Olstad, only to bring him back after the commercial break smelled like a set up to me.
Simon probably has to work out the details with FOX first, but stay tuned for your opportunity to make things right. Or something.

| I do sooooo agree with that post from MJ's. And yours too Canear.
I do not think that Josh Levi is all that. Just best of that lot, which I already said none of which blew me away. ALL the guys on The Voice sing major rings around every guy seen on X-Factor.
I think Simon wants Timmy brought back - dramatic style like Melanie (which was also a total set-up which worked for Simon's big WIN first season). After all, he did say Timmy was the only one he would remember. Not sure Timmy could win this thing, but you watch and see if he is not brought back for live shows.

| That Timmy was a cutie pie (he kinda of reminds me of Pana Hema-Taylor), however the best singer in that bunch was Tim Olstad. I thought the rest of that group were mediocre at best.
A similar thing happened on the UK version of the show. One of the male singers was arguably one of the best singers in the competition. However, he was also the least like a pop star - overweight and lacking confidence. He got cut and they kept the pretty boy types. They were actually pretty good singers too but the other guy was better, IMHO.
I'm guessing her getting rid of Timmy is what got Simon's ire.

| Tim has no oomph and I think he would appeal to an older demographic of the Josh Grobhan style. I think they are looing for more for someone who will attract the younger crowd. Timmy has that in spades. | |

| I would have kept him over Josh Levy who seemed very generic to me. Not that he wasn't good, but he sounded and performed like pretty much every other black R&B/pop singer out there. | |

| I totally agree with Kate!! I see nothing special with Tim Olstead. He never would have made a chair for me. He isn't unique, he isn't charismatic, no star quality, boring and old fashioned.
Timmy has a beautiful unique tone to my ears. A unique style, charismatic, adorable and star quality out the waazoo.
I wish we could bump two and that terrible hispanic boy would also go and Stone would come back with Timmy.
I do think the boys were initially strong but Paulina made them weak with her choices and then Simon's Country Trio was formed and well game over.

| I do see MAJOR potential with the country boy group but the performance itself from them last night was mediocre for me. With practice and time I do think they'll be much better. I certainly understand clearly why Simon put them together. He has lots of $$$ in his eyes. | |

| A group is going to win this and my money is on Restless Road. They sang Roar and the harmonies were out of this world.
Sorry to see James Kenney leave already. Lilly doesn't stand a chance of winning so why keep her around. Duh. The boys and girls are meh. Yep a group is going to win.

| Watched Ravenswood and The Voice. Just not into this show. Sorry about James but I don't think he had a chance of winning anyway. I didn't see it but I know I would have sent Lily home as I don't see her as marketable at all. | |
