I like the Beach Boys for many reasons but one of them is cause my parents knew them. They went to Hawthorne High school just like my parents did   My dad is not a fan of them for the reason he thought a few of them were jerks. He likes Brian though and thinks he is a good writer.

Taylor Swift is a great writer and guitarist who has a lot of confidence so she is good on stage but she can't sing live that well. She has improved a bit but she is no Kelly Clarkson or Carrie Underwood in the voice department. Also her sales come from the same people that are buying the Brit stuff and One Direction stuff the Miley Cyrus stuff the kids and teens. Most adults I know are not a fan of her and only buy her stuff for their kids. I don't hate her and i am happy for her success but I don't have respect for her. When she can stop using any male she dates as chance to write a song then maybe I will give her a chance again but to me it is like she is using them to get a song and that is not right. As I said John Mayer deserved the song she wrote about him cause he manipulated a young girl and that was wrong. Her song that was an apology to Taylor Laughtner is my favorite from her and I am glad she wrote it but every other song that has had to do with one of the guys in her life is just so not cool. I would be happy for her to go back to the stuff she wrote for her first few cd's.

There are more than just "kids" buying her music.  I am getting RED and I am far from a kid!   And I have downloaded a ton of her songs!

And she wouldn't have all the industry awards if she wasn't respected by her voting peers, who also are not kids.

Well Angel I agree with you. Taylor is a bit full of herself IMO and that is one of the reason's why guys she dates get sick of her quick and dump her. The one that seemed to truly care was Taylor Lautner and what does Swift do miss treats and dumps him. Not cool.

FC no one I know likes or buys Taylor Swifts music.    Yep her sales and awards are amazing but you couldn't pay me to see her live or sit through a CD of her music.

Oh I love the songs on RED!  Lots of her other songs too.  She is the youngest person ever in the Songwriters Hall of Fame so she is clearly a well respected songwriter.  I could hardly believe someone so young got voted in.  But she started writing hit songs for country music at 14. The youngest person ever signed to a Sony songwriting contract.  My only point is she has tons of industry respect and not just tween fans.  There is more to her success than that.

A&S really need to win this thing!  They are by far the best!

Yes they are ...... but I have to say all 4 are awesome!

But I have to ask why are they falling all over Jeff?      The vocal was good but the staging was too much.

Also, I am soooooooo glad Demi doesn't have anyone left.  I am tired of listening to her squeaky voice and her arrogant attitude.......and she's looking like a middle-aged spinster with blue hair and she dresses like one as well.  Like seriously ............ Kelly and Paulina are probably twice her age and they always look very hip and dress appropriately.

Oh I loved that duet with Carlito / Alex and Sierra! Who knew Carlito could sing like that?!!!

Carlito is killing it. Finally a Latin song and he killed it.

He finally (it appears) has his nerves under control and is singing like he can.

I like all of these finalists. Jeff the least.

His voice is good but his style dated.

Simon knows groups and he knows what these guys are capable of. They've come so far. The harmonies tonight have been awesome!

Again this week I am enjoying these XFactor performances more than Monday nights The Voice Performances.

IMO which ever of these 4 make top 3 they will out sell the Voice top 3.

Carlito could be the new updated Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony or Enrique Iglesias.

Only Jeff will have a hard time in the real world IMO.

I knew Carlito had it in him but I don't think he did. Perfect song choice. Yes he has the Ricky Martin/Marc Anthony vibe but not the sleeze of Marc.

Loved Restless Road and Alexis and Sierra. Like Jeff Gutt. Do not hate anyone.

Loving Jeff's last song. Finally a song that has been done to death on Rockstar/Idol/Voice.

Damn this is a great final.

Kate, I agree Jeff just KILLED it. That performance was amazing.

I take back that I do not know where Jeff belongs. If he could record a song like this
he would make millions. His vocals were better than on the original. IMO

Hopefully Simon signs all 4 of these contestants.

I love Imagine Dragons but both Chris D. and Jeff have song their songs better imho.

My favourite performance of the night though had to be Alex and Sierra's final song. Gosh that was so beautiful. She has come into her own now. They are both a force vocally. I think it's going to be a Merry Christmas for Simon FINALLY with X-Factor.

I and hubby didn't like their final performance. That kind of slow song just isn't our style and thought it wasn't the best showcase for them.

Yes Simon will be very happy the way the season is ending. Kelly Rowland I hope returns but really hope Demi is gone. I don't mind Paulina and she has definitely been working hard with Carlito. Paulna is one of the biggest names in latin music which is a huge market.

Demi drags the show down.  She seems to have other issues going on and doesn't seem to be very happy right now.  I still think Adam would be a fabulous mentor.

I missed all their second songs.

For me - ALL three of those girl mentors can leave.

Especially Demi and the blonde(don't know her name)

I hope Alex and Sierra win. I love them   

Get rid of Demi. At least and bring in a guy. I don't know who but the judging panel needs more male impute besides Simon.
