| I have NO idea where to put this ( other than the locked music thread!), but ........ I got an email from Summerfest in Milwaukee, and Danny Gokey has been signed to headline one of their stages.  Apparently, when the AI8 Tour was in Milwaukee, the Pres. and CEO of Summerfest made a promise to danny that he would be booked at Summerfest this year, as a headliner. I can't for the life of me figure out what stage they are gong to put him on!  Summerfest hasn't listed all of their performers or stages, yet. | FY ~ Trust me, I have eaten food!! Since my surgery, though, I have not been able to taste anything at all, and my sense of smell is gone, too. I have no idea why, and when I asked my own doc, my neurologist and the neurosurgeoun none of them could give me an aswer.  I would probably be a cheap date! Cathy | |

| Thanks FY! Yes, it is sucky! I haven't smelled or tasted food for so long, I'm kind of getting used to it. When I cook, I have to stick with recipes I've already made. When I cook for the girls when they are home, Sara is my taste-tester to let me know if I need to add seasonings or anything!
I also haven't smelled flowers, perfume, cologne, scented candles ... anything ... in 5 years. That is sucky, too!

| Thanks teddy and FC. Yes, it is awful, and makes life difficult and sad at times, but I have to keep reminding myself that I Am Alive!
It also makes things quite comical, too! My mother said, whenever I am eating something at someone's house or a restaurant, to just smile and say " Mmmm, this is delicious!" Smart gal, that Ruth !!
