I like it. I like the new love interest for Karen, even though I miss Dev. I like the guy Julia is always arguing with. The one you KNOW she will get together with soon!

So yeah, I am enjoying it. But I expect to be canceled after this season. Ratings are way down. I mean waaaaaay down. From eleven million last season to 3 million now. I don't think NBC will keep it. In fact it went down 20% from the season premiere to the next week.

Oh goodness! The ratings really crashed again last night!! It nearly matched Hart of Dixie!! Rumor now is they might yank it before the end of the season! There is no way there will be a season three. What a bummer.....

Awww, that's such a bummer. I really love this show. I hope they don't yank it until this season is over but I suppose it wouldn't be a surprise if they did. As a fan I really want to see this through until the end.

Me too. I still need to watch my tape from this past Tuesday, but I still really enjoy the show and I like the new guys they brought in. This show started out HUGE and man did it crash and burn fast. But NBC's ratings are in the tank! Lower than low. If they think reruns of some other show will draw better than the super low amount for Smash - they will pull it.

Come the beginning of April Smash will be on Saturday nights until the end of the season. So yeah, it's going to be canceled for sure.....

Yep, I was reading about that. Such a bummer. They said that it would end like a series finale though so hopefully it all works out for everyone.

Man, I cannot get over how fast that show crashed and burned after starting out such a hit.

I know FC. It's pretty darn sad isn't it? A lot of the shows on NBC aren't doing so well. The network as a whole has taken huge hits against it.

It is sad. I really enjoy it. I will miss it. I LOVE the guy from Newsies! LOVE HIM!! I think Kat is a real star. She is amazing in this show. I hope her success continues.

I'm really going to miss the show as well. Are you caught up on it all so far? It looks like this week Karen considers giving up Bombshell which would lead to Ivy nabbing Marilyn after all. It's going to be very interesting. I hope Kat's success continues after the show as well. I've thoroughly enjoyed her.

Yes, I am all caught up. I do believe it would be right for the series to end with Ivy being Marilyn and I believe Karen will be fine with it.

I was not a Kat fan during her run on Idol. I found her off putting. But she truly is a triple threat. Her acting is so natural. Her voice is amazing and she can dance great to boot! Add in that she is gorgeous and you have a true star!

Yes but she will probably be more okay with it because of the other musical. You're right though Ivy being Marilyn is the right way to end things.

Okay so I'm not even halfway through the show yet but I have to say I'm not feeling Tom as the director for Bombshell. Ivy needs to watch it with her suggestions of changing things up too. I know Tom and Ivy are great friends but he cannot afford to be too relaxed and comfortable with her or anyone. The fact that he went and changed things so he could bring Sam back into the picture was not cool. Julia looked darn pissed off about it. I know I would be.

ETA: Okay so Tom figured it out and got down to business. That's good. He doesn't have to be as tough as nails like Derek but he does have to be strict. I wonder how Ivy is going to react with the new change up that Tom made at the end.

It was nice to see Derek realize that sometimes he needs to pull back and in order to break through. He has see past what he wants and thinks is best when it's really not.

That was a nice little interaction between Tom and Derek on the steps. That's when they both saw they had to make changes.

I was all excited at the end when Jimmy showed up at Karen's door. Then we got the previews for next week and now I don't know what to think. Dang. I do know this though at some point I really would like a kiss between Derek and Karen. Those two have so much chemistry!!

Fell asleep. I have last night's on tape and will watch this weekend. I have no desire to have Karen with Derek. None at all. I do not care for him and I want her with Jimmy.

I was so upset about what happened last week.....

I didn't see it yet but I read all about it. Sure wish they hadn't done that. I really liked Kyle.

Such a bummer the show took such a downhill fall. It was so successful last year.

Yeah, I was so sad about Kyle. I knew it was most likely going to be cancelled, but seeing it officially announced really bummed me out. I really enjoyed it and feel so bad for the people involved. It started out such a hit they probably were thrilled and thought they had a job for years like the cast of Glee..... I will miss it.

I'm going to miss it too. I really thought it was a wonderful show. I loved the aspect of seeing how it might look behind the scenes of Broadway. It's really made Katherine into a star. I hope she and everyone else will find something else very soon.

Next week is the two hour "season finale" (which the promo kept calling it) but as we know it is the series finale. It is at the Tonys. I hope the winners aren't a cliffhanger But my guess is they pretty much knew it was the end for the show and wrote the finale as such.

May I just say I adore the young actor who plays Jimmy!!

Oh, and Derrick is a TOTAL dick! NOOOOO to Karen EVER getting together with him in anyway!!

You mean you hope it is not a cliffhanger like they did with freaking Secret Circle. I am still so freaking pissed of they did that. They cancel the show bit still end the show with a cliffhanger with all the kids and then leave the fans freaking hanging. I pray for the fans sake Smash just straight out ends all story lines next week.

I just read that the two hour series finale will be SUNDAY, May 26th. Make a note!

I asked for that day off next week. I hope they gave it to me so I'll be home for the finale.

Hope you get it off. Pretty sad about this show going away....

I loved it as I love Broadway stories. Maybe watch it together?
