I was talking to my sis and she was telling me about a play she went to and one of the singers and to describe him right off the get-go, she says he's gay. I bit my tongue, because I didn't want to start anything. She accepts gays, so why she needs to describe anyone as being 'gay' makes no sense. I wanted to ask her 'and why is that important to know'?

It's really sad that people can't just accept him for the extraordinary singer that he is! There is NO ONE out there right now who can come close to doing what Adam does so well, and with so much ease! He is a class act!

Sky, you should have asked her if he were not gay would her first words to describe him be "he is hetero".

She could have just remarked that he was a good singer in the play. Why the fact he was gay made any difference, I don't know. Until we stop labeling people as gay, black, asian, whatever......things will never be different.

Sadly you're so right about that Sky. It's truly unfortunate.
