| Well, well .... I survived the Big Day/Night!!! OMG... what fun we had! First Sara, Shanna and I did a little shopping ! Got some really good deals for the girls on clothes at Old Navy. We went to Old World Market, too. I Loved that store and bought way too much! Then, it was off to the Nitty Gritty where we met up with Melissa and some other friends! Got my Bday Mug (filled with HoneyWeis .. a fav!), helium balloon and my name on the Bday Board for the night! Had some yummmmmy hot spinach dip with relishes and tortilla chips. I also had my usual Gritty Burger with a boatload of Gritty sauce on the side to dip everything in! We also had a delicious dessert (sp?) and I got a free sundae while the workers sang to me! I also got a kiss from the owner of the place! It was MY choice as to what we would do next! We went outside to decide, and my nephew, Sam, met up with us (he's 23). Melissa drove to the next place .... cranking up CLAY AIKEN'S MOAM cd. This made me very happy and was so fun with all of us singing along at the top of our lungs with the windows down, driving around Madison! Soooo Fun!!! This turned out to be very fitting music ... because we went to a Gay Bar! Omg, I had so much fun at that bar! And, it was All drinks for free for anyone having a Bday! Woo Hoo!! I had Gin and Tonics ... probably too many! Then, the 'shots' came out again! Sara drove home (she only had ice water). There were SO many fireflies out in the country on our drive home ... it was really cool! Good Lord, I think I celebrated enough to hold me for another year!!!  Thanks again, Ladies, for the sweet Bday wishes! Love to You All !! | |
