- EEEK! They are amazing!! Our prayers must be doing them lots of good! A boy and a girl! What lucky parents! Congrats to your whole family Sky!!
My friend Nadia just emailed me this link to a story about two animals that you have to watch to believe! It made me cry actually, but they were tears of simple amazement at this story! Please watch it right up to the end. The ending shot is just unfreakingbelievable!
http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=4696315n I watched that video yesterday after viewing the 'Faith' video on You Tube! Isn't it wonderful? Who would have thought a dog and elephant as best friends. The elephant will be lost if anything happens to Bella again. Yep, a boy and a girl. The proud parents already have a son, so they now are a family of 5. | |

| We have a 46" already, so maybe this one will go downstairs in the family room and we can get rid of the huge rear projection TV! We don't need a converter box we are on digital cable. I haven't even seen it, it's still in the back of his SUV. I never win anything either, not even a free ticket playing the lottery. I gave up and let him buy the tickets. | |

| Oh that is great! We needed to go to the cable company and get a box if we wanted full High Def. Maybe living out in the farmlands is different? But they said we needed it and we pay $10 a month for it. Mediacom is the only cable company that will even come out this way. Funny how those big rear projection TV's don't seem as appealing now with the HD 1080Ps LCDs. I remember when they were all the rage! :D | |

| That was nice. I'm so ready for Spring, heck just a sunny day will do. It actually is partly sunny here today, but I can't get out in the garden. We've had our 2 GS here since Thursday night and they will go home tomorrow night. I can't go outside with one napping........ Even if I could I wouldn't be able to get anything done in the garden. Well, it's not going anywhere and eventually, I hope, I'll get a nice day for yardwork! | |

| Gosh, so am I! We have had these little teases of warm and sunny and then BAM - snow and cold and wind At least it got up to 37 here with the sun out all afternoon and most of the snow has melted. Only in the low 40s the next few days though. Tomorrow I am going to go to that link and let Katie "grow" some pretty flowers! | |

| I wanted to get outside today too, but the wind would about blow my head off. So much for riding or gardening.
The sun is nice though. | |

| Right...ok this didn't make me smile today...but made me laugh a lot a few days ago! My sister had a company "activity day" which was Tank Paintballing. Well it also included archery & air rifle shooting too, so when I asked her how she got on...this is pretty much how the convo went....... Me "How was it?" Sis "Oh it was ok..." Me "How did the tank thing go?" Sis "Well we started off with archery" Me "Ohhh I've never tried that...how did you get on?" Sis "Ummm I couldn't get the hang of it....first arrrow fell at my feet, never got near the target...but I nearly hit a sheep" Me "Stifled laughter...OH! Stifled laughter Sis "I did really well on the air rifle shooting though" Me "Well you did used to do Clay pigeon shooting...." Sis "Oh it's not like that at all - we all had 10 shots at a target...& when they brought my target back I had 2 bulls eyes & 3 really really close to the bull too" Me "Well that's good..." Sis "Yes...but I couldn't figure out where the other 5 shots went til they brought Joanne's (who was next to her) target back & she had 15 shots on her target! Me "Laughing Hysterically...sorry Sis...laughing hysterically" Sis "Laughing Hysterically...I just said I was trying to help her out...& I bet my shots were the ones closest to the bull....bitch!" Me "Still laughing hysterically...errrrrrrrrrrr what about the Tank?" Sis "Ah well, they wanted me to put on Fatigues & I told them they wouldn't have any big enough to fit me (my sister is a larger lady)...but they insisted...so I put them on, bugger they were tight when I was trying to clamber about in the Tank" Me "Did you get to drive it?" Sis "Well yes, eventually, though when I climbed into the turret thingy to be the gunner...my trousers fell down & I was stuck!!" Me "OMG - Laughing even more hysterically - who was in the tank with you?" Sis "Well Joanne & a little lad called Matt, he's an apprentice - Joanne was yelling "DON'T LOOK MATT" & I was stuck yelling "SOMEONE take these trousers off my feet!!!!" Me "Crying with laughter" Sis "Crying with laughter" Me "So you did actually drive the tank?" Sis "Oh yes, was a bugger though, the sun was shining right into the little letter box that you look through, & there was a cow in the way at one point! I just hoped it would move!" Me "Did it?" Sis "Ummmm - I think so...trouble is the helmets we had to wear were so big everytime I turned round to ask someone something...I ended up whacking them in the face!" Me "Laughing hysterically" Me "Thanks Sis...you have just really cheered me up! Sis "Well I think there were a few others that had a good day too" Oh my sister is a star :D | |

| Ah well it's everyday life in Drifty's family! Mum & Sis are off away on a holiday tomorrow for a few days, I also have the week off too. They tried to persuade me to go with them, to try & get me to unwind & relax.Ummmmmmmmmmmmm..I had declined earlier, they are soooooooooooooooooo alike, I've already had 2 sides of the "how are we gonna fit everthing in the car" arguement - methinks I'm better off arguing with Fang at home | |

| Oh boy - he is now gonna be even more big headed! I've just been out to get him in before "curfew" time...grrrrrrrr we have had rain so there are little snails everywhere! I had to tiptoe around them like an idiot (oh the neighbours must love the activities from my house!)I know snails are bad for plants, but I won't intentionally kill any creature! I used to yell loudly at them when they were munching through the leaves of my geraniums, & then someone told me they are deaf!! It's all very well to learn how to sign "Get off my geraniums now!" but with their speed it's hard to tell if they are running away! Well Fang is in now, plotting a "Pounce on Mum" at about 4am again, no doubt!Hmmmmmmm though he prefers to do it when I have work in the morning, then as I'm getting ready I have to look at him enviously, as he is sprawled over the bed without a care in the world, snoring like a good 'un. Errrrrrrrrrrrr anyone wanna adopt a "Fang" ? | |
