Dancing With The Stars!!!

This could be the comedy hit of the season with these 'stars'.

Like shouldn't Bristol be home raising her son since she's a single mother? Shouldn't David Hassellhoff be in rehab? What kind of name is The Situation?

Bristol probably has grandma watching her son Maybe he can co-host her show!

Her grandson probably would have more interesting things to say than a lot of politicians!

She had one on FOX News - not sure if it is still on. She has one starting in November on TLC.

You know, not starting anything here, but Bristol is not the first or only single mom to be on DWTS. I am sure all the moms who have been on the show have had proper care for their kids. There are millions of working single moms around the world. No need to single out Bristol. I have been a daycare provider for single moms the last 17 years. All good moms.

My only issue with them having Bristol (and others on) is that do not fit the billing of "stars".

That's the problem I have too, this is suppose to be 'Dancing with the STARS'. Bristol Palin is NOT a star.

I don't consider losers from Jersey Shores or The Hills "stars" either. I didn't think of Kate Gosseling (sp?) as a "star" either. I just don't see how people from those types of reality shows qualify as "stars"

They need to change the name to: "Dancing with the Stars and the losers".

Because Derek needs to win every season I guess It would be nice if he got stuck with cannon fodder every now and then like many of the others have.

It sure would. I know Derek is an excellent dancer but let him have a bit of a challenge once in a while...........

It's not like he wins every year. He's one of four who have won twice. Julianne, Cheryl, Mark and Derek have each won twice.

No, but he always get a hottie/good dancer. Never a Cloris Leachman or Kate Gosselin type. Now mind you I love Derek - but it really is unfair how he is always paired with someone really good when other male pros are stuck with stinkers every season. Just not right.

She is one of my favorites, she will be missed, but I can understand her need to quit the show.

Poor Edyta I really liked her. I am glad she is standing up for herself and for Alec for that matter.

Jennifer Grey can actually dance. She has been through a lot these past years she had Thyroid cancer and she decided to do this show cause as she put it life is way to short. I think with her cancer and the passing of her wonderful friend Patrick to cancer she just wants to live life to the fullest and they asked her to do this so she jumped at it. I can't wait to see her do this and she has an amazing partner. Poor Kym and my baby Mark. They have David H. and Bristol P. :( Woohoo for Cheryl she has Rick Fox. I love that man and Cheryl is my top lady dancer.

Where the heck is Lacey and Julianne. I know they do a height issue thing when they are partnering people so maybe they didn't have anymore guys to fit their height. Also where is my Jonathon after seeing him on SYTYCD I was missing him.

I think Florance Henderson will be great with Marks dad Corky.

ETA: FC you are right I don't think Derek has had one bad dancer with him. Yes the others have. I know people say cheryl has never had a bad dancer and all I have to say is Mr. Las Vegas himself Wayne Newton. That man was a train wreck.

Cheryl has had a couple clunkers I think.

Julianne has a lot going on with her movie roles and singing career. I was surprised to hear she was supposed to come back. So not really surprised to see she is not on this season after all. But I love Lacey so that is disappointing.

Maybe they know Derek is a ratings draw so they give him someone they think will be around awhile so they have stronger ratings.

If I had to pick a darkhorse believe it or not I think it will be Bristol. She could very well connect with the younger crowd and she's with Mark who is very popular. Who knows.......I don't think her mother would have let her go on the show if she thought she would be a total disaster.

Oh I am sure that is a large reason for Derek getting good partners.

I think Bristol could very well be a surprise. She does have my hottie Mark on her side as her dance teacher. So who knows what could happen!

I'm glad that Derek is still here. Sad to see Julianne is not. But hey I'm just glad one of them is there! Yes Derek seems to really luck out with his partners. But I think a lot lies on him being the teacher too. He does great with everyone he's ever had.

They did some really good match-ups this time. I feel so sorry for Kym though getting stuck with the Hoff. Ugh.

I just heard on the news that Lacey is on this season as one of the pro dancers. She's with this Kyle Massey kid who is a Disney channel star.
